** PLEASE EMAIL questions, please DO NOT call. We are a volunteer based group and are unable to handle the call volume. WE HOLD ADOPTIONS ON SATURDAYS & SUNDAYS FROM 10-4 PM at our Adoption Center. Our adoption center is located next to CAL Ranch at 232 North Jones (I-95) Suite 170. NO APPOINTMENT NECESSARY, just walk right in. Hercules is approximately 13 years old. Following the passing of his owner, Hercules and four other dogs are currently seeking placement. He would benefit from a foster home while a permanent residence that welcomes senior dogs. Hercules interacts well with dogs of all sizes and has previously cohabited with cats. He is also comfortable around respectful children. In his previous home, he was house-trained. Currently, Hercules is slightly overweight, which is attributed to limited exercise and being walked in a stroller; however, some of the other dogs have already experienced weight loss through regular walks. Additional information about Hercules will be provided as it becomes available. A Path 4 Paws holds adoption events at our Adoptions Center, located at 232 N. Jones Blvd, Suite 170 right next to CAL Ranch (North Jones/ I-95). Please bring your dog(s) for a meet and greet (if applicable) Please bring your entire family so everyone can meet. If you are interested in Hercules, please contact dogrescuelv@hotmail.com to confirm the dog you are interested in, will be attending that particular event. We have limited space at the store, therefore we can not take every dog out to the event. This pet comes with 30 days of free post-adoption support through Petcademy.org . This benefit includes free access to Petcademy's team of trainers/behaviorists, as well as access to online materials that will help you settle Hercules into your home. You can text unlimited questions to Petcademy and they'll respond within 24 hours, Monday-Friday. This pet is spayed/neutered, has current vaccinations and includes a microchip, deworming and 2 free vet visits, including a Healthy Start Certificate with the VCA Hospitals with a $250 health credit (restrictions apply). Adoption fee applies. Please make sure you have read the information listed on the homepage for requirements and restrictions. Foster homes & volunteers are always needed. Please contact us regarding how you can help by fostering or volunteering for our organization.

Story
Ezio & his brother (pure bred mini weins-no papers) joined us in Aug 2013. As litter mates, they were inseparable. Steve passed away in Dec ‘21. Ezio was heartbroken, but recovered & has remained in good spirits. He’s kennel trained spends time in his kennel, on top in his heated bed (he has stairs) or outside basking in the sun. Like most weins, he hates being cold, barks to alert you to anything outside the fence line & he absolutely LOVES cats! He’s tiny weighing in under 10 lbs! He’s a senior, but just had blood work in Jan which looked great. He’s had some dental issues but had teeth extractions & cleaning after his brother died. Our kids have moved (his main caretaker) & due to work constraints, we are considering travel assignments/relocation. We won’t be able to take him so we’re posting to allow time to find the right homes. He loves walks, snuggles & watching TV! A great dog ready to cuddle with you today! Comes with 2 kennels, beds, muzzle, collar, harness, sweater & food.

Story
Zero is about 4 (We adopted him 3 years ago) He has the energy of a young puppy and we are sad to have to give him up, but with a new baby (maybe another on the way) he isn't getting the attention he needs from us. Trained on the basics like sit, lay down, and stay but can be stubborn about it and will really only do it for a treat. Completely house and crate trained but we must emphasize that he is very high energy and will need a lot of attention focused on play or walks. Needs a harness because he pulls on his leash. Zero is one of the most loving cuddle dusky you will ever meet. He will play for hours on end with other dogs. So if you have another high energy dog, Zero may be a good fit.

Story
Hello, Vinny is 6 years old born and raised in Las Vegas. He is a Dachsund/Chihuahua mix and about 22lbs. Vinny is a very loyal dog who wants nothing more than to be by your side. He enjoys lounging and relaxing, or playing and running around. As long as it’s with you. It’s very important that Vinny finds a home that will be very patient and can give him a lot of attention and training. He happens to get a lot of anxiety when left alone and needs supervision while roaming around. Patience, time, and persistence are key so Vinny can thrive while learning. Vinny is best being an only pet, but with the love and personality like his will feel like a million.
