** PLEASE EMAIL questions, please DO NOT call. We are a volunteer based group and are unable to handle the call volume. WE HOLD ADOPTIONS ON SATURDAYS & SUNDAYS FROM 10-4 PM at our Adoption Center. Our adoption center is located next to CAL Ranch at 232 North Jones (I-95) Suite 170. NO APPOINTMENT NECESSARY, just walk right in. Martha's Ana aka Hannah is about 10 yrs old and weighs about 12 lbs. She has the energy of a young pup. She can be very shy at first but once she feels comfortable she is very playful with both people and other dogs. Once you're in her heart, she'll be loyal to you in every sense of the word. She is a good girl who really enjoys running around and going for walks outside. She also loves to lay out in the sun and cuddle up in a nice warm blanket, especially if it's on your lap. She is very good with common commands and is house and crate trained. Loud or unexpected sounds tend to frighten her so young children may unknowingly startle her at times. She may be best suited for a family with older kids who understand this or adults. She is good with other dogs also Hannah was recently dumped by her family the day before her 10th Birthday. Her family who adopted her at 7 months took her to a kill shelter instead of calling us to return her. The reason? They had a baby and did not have time for her anymore. Hannah looking for FOREVER but would love a foster home while she waits. A Path 4 Paws holds adoption events at our Adoptions Center, located at 232 N. Jones Blvd, Suite 170 right next to CAL Ranch (North Jones/ I-95). Please bring your dog(s) for a meet and greet (if applicable) Please bring your entire family so everyone can meet. If you are interested in Martha's Ana aka Hannah, please contact dogrescuelv@hotmail.com to confirm the dog you are interested in, will be attending that particular event. We have limited space at the store, therefore we can not take every dog out to the event. This pet comes with 30 days of free post-adoption support through Petcademy.org . This benefit includes free access to Petcademy's team of trainers/behaviorists, as well as access to online materials that will help you settle Martha's Ana aka Hannah into your home. You can text unlimited questions to Petcademy and they'll respond within 24 hours, Monday-Friday. This pet is spayed/neutered, has current vaccinations and includes a microchip, deworming and 2 free vet visits, including a Healthy Start Certificate with the VCA Hospitals with a $250 health credit (restrictions apply). Adoption fee applies. Please make sure you have read the information listed on the homepage for requirements and restrictions. Foster homes & volunteers are always needed. Please contact us regarding how you can help by fostering or volunteering for our organization.
