Bart is an adorable and spunky 6 month old Dachshund boy looking for his furever home.  He is dog friendly, and would enjoy a home with another small dog.  Breed experience is preferred but not required.  He is neutered and up to date on vaccines.  He is not yet house or leash trained so he will need a patient family willing to work with him. This happy little guy can't wait to meet his furever family! Their adoption fees allow them to act as “benefactors” to other dogs in our care such as sick or injured dogs, or senior dogs and heartworm positive dogs, dogs with heart problems or broken bones; many that require special medical care or procedures. This allows us to get these other dogs the medical care they need, and gives them a better chance at adoption and a loving home.  We currently have two puppies in need of expensive heart surgery and this adoption fee will help support their care.  ##1829183##

Hi!  My name is Bonnie and I am looking for a forever home!  I was surrendered to a really scary place called a shelter by my previous owners who decided they just didn't want dogs anymore.  I ended up on something bad called "the list", but fortunately BCAA heard about my plight and said they would help me ... yeah!!!  My foster mom says I'm a beautiful redhead with the energy and a spunky personality to match.  While the vet feels I'm about 6years old I have the vitality of a 2 year old, and at just a little over 15lbs I will fit just about anywhere as I shouldn't get any bigger.  I love getting attention from folks and adore going for walks with you.  I have gotten along with all of the other small/medium dogs I have met but have started showing some interest in those things called cats.  I love my food and treats which I take gently.  I have done really well in my crate without any accidents or tearing up of any bedding although I would really prefer to be out with you and will let you know not to forget about me if I see or hear you.  If you would like to meet me, please fill out an application which can be found at http://www.bcaaofnj.org.Interested in adopting this pet?Click here for BCAA's on-line Application!
