Lollipop has arrived in her foster home in NJ. She will be at our Saturday Adoption Event looking for a forever home.
Meet Lollipop, a very sweet 2–4 year old delight. This adorable terrier mix wants to be your constant companion. Whether she’s walking happily by your side through the neighborhood or curling up next to you on the couch, Lollipop is simply happiest being near people.
Lollipop is the definition of a loyal and trusted companion, offering a gentle soul that blossoms into a deep, unwavering love once she finds her person. This elegant fido is a master of the peaceful life, showing off impeccable house manners and a sophisticated preference for a relaxed, quiet routine over toys. She is the ultimate escort, often engaging in a bit of endearing theater where she will patiently guide you back to your favorite spot on the couch for a shared snuggle session, repeating the process with a wagging tail until you've both settled in! Lollipop is incredibly patient and gentle, even with high-energy friends like her foster brother, and she prefers to show her affection through quiet companionship and tender moments. Whether she is gently resting her head on your lap or following you from room to room to ensure you're never far from her sight, her soft, trusting eyes make it clear that she is the perfect fit for a home looking for a calm, devoted best friend.
A word from her current foster in NJ - Lollipop loves calm, quiet environments . She is a very sweet girl who would rather lounge on the couch than play around. She tends to bond closely with the person she trusts and will love to follow them. If that person isn’t nearby, she prefers to stay in her safe spot on the couch and doesn’t like to move around much.
So far, she hasn’t had any accidents indoors. She takes a bit to warm up, but once she does she’s a lovebug.
She is a smart girl and is slowly but steadily building confidence in her new environment.
She would do well in a home with someone who enjoys relaxing on the couch with her rather than an active household looking for a playful dog.
