Story
Meet Dougie 💙 Dougie is a 15 pound boy who looks like dachshund mix with long legs. Picture a classic dachshund silhouette… then give him a little extra runway. He’s basically a low rider who upgraded the suspension. This 1.5 year old handsome boy absolutely adores people. His favorite hobbies include: • Supervising you from room to room • Perfecting the art of couch cuddling • Soaking up pets like sunshine • Being your full time, highly committed best friend He’s house trained, walks nicely on leash, and is comfortable in a crate. Dougie would truly thrive as the star of the show. He’s not a fan of cats and can feel nervous around some dogs, but he’s done very well with some smaller female dogs.A calm adult home or one with older, respectful teens would help him feel safe and confident. What Dougie is looking for is simple: A loyal human. A warm lap. A steady routine. A home where his enormous love can land. If you’re searching for a small dog with a giant capacity for attachment, affection, and companionship, Dougie might just be your perfect match.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online Adoption Application › Hello! My name's Ibar! Ibar is a charming little dog with a heart full of love. Despite a challenging start in life from a hoarding situation, he has proven to be resilient and sweet-natured. This adorable canine companion has a special affinity for toys and delights in playtime, especially with other dogs. Due to his past experiences, Ibar may initially appear shy, but underneath that hesitancy lies a gentle and affectionate soul. He is in the process of learning to trust and become more comfortable with people. Patience is key when interacting with Ibar, as he may take some time to warm up to new faces and situations. In the right environment, Ibar has the potential to blossom into a confident and happy pup. A caring and patient owner who understands his need for time and reassurance will be the perfect match for Ibar. With love and support, Ibar is sure to overcome his fears and embrace the joy that life has to offer. *He has had surgery for his cherry eyes twice but they have come back both times.*  You can apply to adopt our dogs at: https://www.pawfectmatch.org/info/adoptionVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 7, 2026, 6:02 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online Adoption Application › Margie | 3 years old | 25lbs |Good with Dogs | Good with Kids | Housetrained Margie is a sweet girl that requires a little time to settle. Initially, she is skiddish but her personality shines through once she settles in. She has found her voice and occasionally barks especially when new people come into the home. She requires a little space and time but will eventually go over to greet. She loves to run, play with other dogs, is curious of cats and plays fetch occasionally. She is crate trained, house trained, and is learning simple commands like sit. She also loves to cuddle in a fluffy blanket and prances around the house when she’s excited.  The adoption fee is $400, which covers food, vetting, microchip and the spay/neuter surgery performed by a rescue-affiliated vet.  All dogs receive a wellness visit and are up to date on shots appropriate for age.  Breed and size is Pawfect Match Rescue's best guess and not guaranteed.
