My journey is a little different than most. Some of us are healing from medical conditions. Some of us are learning to trust. Some of us have special needs or require a very specific home to thrive. While we're always open to meeting the right family, our priority is making sure we're happy, healthy, and loved every step of the way. For me, that means it would take a truly special home—someone who understands my unique needs and is committed to giving me the life I deserve. If that person comes along, we'd love to hear from them! Until then, Pawfect Match is proud to be my safety net and my family. My care doesn't stop after my rescue. Food, medications, routine veterinary care, enrichment, and lots of love are all part of my everyday life. If you'd like to be part of my journey, please consider making a donation toward my daily care. Every gift, no matter the size, helps dogs like me continue to receive the second chances we deserve. _____ Hello! My name's Ibar! Ibar is a charming little dog with a heart full of love. Despite a challenging start in life from a hoarding situation, he has proven to be resilient and sweet-natured. This adorable canine companion has a special affinity for toys and delights in playtime, especially with other dogs. Due to his past experiences, Ibar may initially appear shy, but underneath that hesitancy lies a gentle and affectionate soul. He is in the process of learning to trust and become more comfortable with people. Patience is key when interacting with Ibar, as he may take some time to warm up to new faces and situations. In the right environment, Ibar has the potential to blossom into a confident and happy pup. A caring and patient owner who understands his need for time and reassurance will be the perfect match for Ibar. With love and support, Ibar is sure to overcome his fears and embrace the joy that life has to offer. *He has had surgery for his cherry eyes twice but they have come back both times.* The adoption fee is $400, which covers food, vetting, microchip and the spay/neuter surgery performed by a rescue-affiliated vet. All dogs receive a wellness visit and are up to date on shots appropriate for age. Breed and size is Pawfect Match Rescue's best guess and not guaranteed.
