Charlotte and Biscuit are a bonded pair of Dachshunds. Charlotte is 12 years old and Biscuit is 10 years old. They were surrendered to Rico as their owner with advanced Alzheimer could no longer care for them. Both dogs were in bad shape. Rico has placed them in a foster home where they are getting the care they need to treat their skin issues, matted hair, ear infections and provide them with dental care. Both dogs are obese and need to lose weight. Despite their past, Biscuit and Charlotte are soaking up the love in their foster home. They are snuggling on the couch, playing with toys and getting along with other dogs and even kids. If you see this senior pair in your future, please apply at ricopetrecovery.org to meet them. The adoption fee for Charlotte is $200.

Got her when my kids were young and didn’t play sport. Now we are always on the go with sports so we don’t have time to take care of her. When she has time out of her cage and is showed attention she is a good dog, but when she is left in her cage for to long and doesn’t get attention she become destructive.
