Duchess is a super sweet 5 yr old girl who came to us after her elderly human dad passed away.   She is good with dogs and cats.  She is a dachshund, but is very overweight at 23 lbs. we believe she should maybe weight about 13-14 pounds.  She seems to like children, so kids 6 and up would be fine for this girl. Duchess does not walk well on leash yet so she would need a securely fenced in yard. All available dogs are spayed or neutered, micro-chipped, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm tested, and given a broad spectrum dewormer . The adoption fee for dogs is $150+ for Adult dogs > 15lbs, $100 for Seniors 8yr+, and $200+ for Small breed dogs and Puppies < 6 months  If you decide to apply for this or another animal, you can complete the application online here https://www.petstablished.com/adoption_form/570/generic We require that all dogs in the home be spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccines, and on heartworm prevention.
