Story
Will chase balls, give cuddles, and greet you like a rockstar every day. I am a Catahoula mix with movie star eyes, good manners, and a heart made of cheese-flavored treats. I am the perfect combo of playful and snuggly—and I am on the hunt for a forever home that matches my vibe: active, loving, and peaceful (with zero screaming toddlers, please and thank you). General Socialization Notes: I would really love a home where my humans will train and work with me. I am very ready to learn and I am very smart. I'd love walks to get out my energy and I'd also love nose work and training where I am working and using my brain. I would do well as an only dog or with another dog. I'd really enjoy lots of adventures too! I'm a good boy waiting for my forever family! Does Duke like other animals? I do fine with other dogs. I do like calm dogs and do not really like the pushy ones. I would do best in a home without cats. Does Duke like children? I would do best in a home with older children. Children 12 years old and older would be best for me. Favorite Toys: I love FETCH!! I'd play all day. I also love to show off my toys and carry them around. Ideal Forever Home: I'd love a calm, peaceful home. I'd enjoy daily walks and a nice back yard would be nice. No small children, please. I am ready to fetch your heart with my heartfelt poem: I chase the ball, I bring it back, I wait for you with toy in stack. I'll walk with you, I'll nap just right, I'll cuddle close each peaceful night. Just promise me your calm and care, And in return—I'll always be there. I can't wait to meet you!

Story
My husband and I adopted her from the local shelter here and she needs a bigger area to run around. And I’d love to find her a family with a big backyard. She has lots of energy, so will need lots of walks or big areas to run around. Along with some separation anxiety, due to that she does have accidents in her crate from just being so nervous alone.i have worked with her about that though! She’s good with older kids. I believe she would be good with other dogs as well but with slow introductions. She pays no mind to cats. She can be very jumpy and rambunctious which is why a home with older kiddos would be a must/recommended . I want to find her a forever home where she can run around a lot. She loves going on car rides, loves sticking her nose out the window. I can rehome her with all her toys, left over food as well, with her food bowl, and other such things of hers like her crate. I want to find her a good happy home, with a big back yard to run in.

Story
Meet Walter Walter is an approximately 1.5-year-old German Shorthaired Pointer mix with a heart as big as his legs are long. He’s an incredibly sweet, affectionate boy who loves nothing more than curling up under the blankets on the couch or bed. If he’s not snuggled beside you, he’s perfectly content hanging out in his crate with a favorite chew or toy. True to his GSP roots, Walter has tons of energy and enthusiasm. He loves playing fetch, exploring open spaces, and stretching his legs on a good run. He’s currently navigating the ups and downs of canine adolescence and is working hard on building polite manners, especially around exciting new people, animals, and places. Walter can get over-excited when seeing other dogs on leash, but with proper introductions, he becomes a playful and loyal friend. Once you’re in his circle — human or canine — you’re there for life. It’s still unknown how he does with children or small animals like cats, and due to his tall, lanky frame, he’s sometimes a bit unaware of his own body in his excitement.   With continued structure, training, and enrichment, Walter has all the potential to be the perfect mountain adventure companion. He’s even working toward earning his Canine Good Citizen certification! If you’re looking for a snuggly, spirited, and endlessly loving partner, Walter just might be your guy. ##2587277##
