SAMMIE IS IN HER FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS, TN AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO CT ONCE SHE IS ADOPTED! Sammie is a 1 year, 9 month old, 29 pound mixed breed pup.  She is house trained, crate and leash trained.  Sammie needs her size and larger dogs in the home as she is food aggressive with smaller dogs. She is a great size for any home! Story
Meet Kaiser, an adorable and affectionate canine companion who thrives on love and attention! Kaiser is a unique individual with a preference for female dogs, as he tends to feel more comfortable around them. While he may have some reservations about interacting with male dogs, he truly shines when it comes to receiving pets and affection from his human friends. Kaiser's loving nature makes him an ideal companion for those who enjoy showering their furry friends with love and cuddles. He has a knack for seeking out attention and will eagerly soak up every pet, scratch, and belly rub he can get. His tail wags with delight as he basks in the warmth of human companionship. Due to Kaiser's preference for female dogs, it's important to ensure his interactions with male dogs are carefully managed and supervised. With proper guidance and a controlled approach, there is potential for him to gradually improve his comfort level around them. Kaiser's bio serves as a reminder that every dog has their own unique personality and preferences. By providing Kaiser with the love he craves while respecting his boundaries, you can create a harmonious environment that allows him to thrive and be the affectionate and lovable companion he is.

Story
Introducing May, a resilient and courageous dog who has overcome great adversity in her life. For several months, May found herself wandering the streets, facing the challenges of survival on her own. During this time, she endured a prolapsed vagina, a painful condition that required urgent medical attention. Though people in the neighborhood attempted to help her, her fear and mistrust kept her at a distance. Fortunately, fate intervened when one of our compassionate fosters caught sight of May and recognized the urgency of her situation. With a clever plan involving fries as bait, May was coaxed close enough to be safely captured. Immediately, she was taken to the veterinary clinic, where she underwent surgery to repair her injury. May is now ready for a new chapter in her life, filled with endless love, security, and happiness. If you're searching for a quiet and affectionate canine companion who will steal your heart with a single smile, look no further than May. Come and meet her, and witness the incredible transformation she has undergone. May is waiting with open paws to bring joy and warmth into your life. If May May sounds like she might be the right match for you, or if you want to check out more of our wonderful pets for adoption, please visit ffpets.org to read all about our TN-based rescue and how the adoption and transport process works and to submit your application The adoption fee is $300 and transport is an additional $200 This pet is currently in a foster home in TN and will be transported north after the adoption is complete.
