Story
Victoria is a beautiful one-year-old Dalmatian with a gentle soul and a heart full of untapped love. She’s searching for a forever home that understands that trust takes time and that patience can change everything. Victoria is a shy, fearful girl who needs a calm, kind environment to truly shine. Soft voices, slow movements, and consistent love help her feel safe, and once she does, her walls begin to come down. When she trusts you, her bond is incredibly special. You can see her curiosity peek through, her tail start to wag a little more, and her personality slowly bloom. She would do best in a quieter home with a securely fenced yard where she can feel protected and learn to enjoy the world at her own pace. Victoria can be an only dog or live with another calm, friendly pup, as long as introductions are slow and respectful. This sweet girl has so much potential and so much love to give. She just needs someone willing to meet her where she is and walk beside her as she continues to blossom. If you’re the kind of person who believes in second chances, gentle growth, and the magic of earning a dog’s trust, Victoria might be your perfect match. ##2546418##

Story
🐾 **Meet Wiggly!** 🐾 Wiggly is a young Dalmatian with a gentle soul who has made incredible progress since coming into rescue. When Wiggly first arrived, he was extremely timid and unsure of people. If you approached him, his first instinct was to run away. Everything seemed a little scary, and trusting humans was something he just wasn't ready for yet. But with time, patience, and kindness, Wiggly has started to realize that people aren't so bad after all. Today, this sweet boy has transformed from running away from us to actively seeking us out for affection. One of the biggest milestones has been watching him come up on his own and ask for pets. Those moments may seem small, but for Wiggly they represent just how far he has come. Wiggly is still building confidence and will need a family that understands he may be shy at first in a new environment. Once he feels safe, though, his sweet personality begins to shine through. Wiggly would do best in a home with another confident, friendly dog. Having a canine companion helps him feel more secure and gives him someone to show him that new people and experiences aren't so scary. We believe another dog will be essential in helping him continue to build confidence and thrive. 🐱 Wiggly is also good with cats and is happy to share his home with feline friends. He is looking for a patient family that will continue helping him discover that the world is a safe place and that good things happen when you trust the people around you. Watching Wiggly grow has been incredibly rewarding, and we know the lucky family that adopts him will get to experience even more of those special moments as his confidence continues to blossom. Story
🐾 **Meet Barney!** 🐾 Barney is a Dalmatian with two defining characteristics: spots and an unwavering commitment to being as close to his people as physically possible. If cling wrap could wag its tail, it would be Barney. ❤️ When Barney first arrived at Runaways Animal Rescue, he was absolutely terrified. In fact, he was so scared that he had to be carried into the shelter. And while being carried, he peed all over the shelter manager. Now, for reference, Barney weighs 71 pounds. That's a lot of pee. 😅 Thankfully, Barney's story doesn't end there. Since arriving, Barney has made incredible progress and has become a favorite among staff and volunteers. Once he learned that people can be trusted, his sweet and loving personality started to shine. He loves spending time hanging out in the yard, soaking up attention from his favorite humans, and has recently discovered that walks are actually pretty awesome. While Barney has come a long way, we know that moving into a new home can be scary for a dog who has been through so much change. Because of that, Barney would do best in a calm, patient home with people who understand that he may need a little time to settle in and feel safe. The good news? We've already seen what happens when Barney is given love, kindness, and patience. He blossoms. So while he may be nervous at first, we know that with a little understanding and a lot of love, Barney will become the loyal, affectionate companion he's meant to be. If you're looking for a best friend who wants nothing more than to be by your side, Barney is waiting to meet you. 📍 Learn more about Barney and our adoption process at: 🌐 **[www.runawaysanimalrescue.org](http://www.runawaysanimalrescue.org)**
