Story
Meet Priya! This 6 month old pup was rescued from our local animal shelter. We were told she is a Dalmatian/Great Dane mix but only time will tell if that's true! Her paws do tell us that she will be on the larger size when full grown!  Either way, she's a lovable pup who gets along with everyone!  ##2307858##

Story
Marlee is a stunning and spirited Dalmatian mix who also happens to be deaf—but that doesn’t slow her down one bit! This high-energy girl is full of life, joy, and enthusiasm. She’s currently in training to learn sign language commands and is picking them up with her signature zest and determination.Marlee is looking for a dedicated and active family who can keep up with her playful energy and continue her training journey. Because she`s deaf, consistency and patience are key to helping her thrive. She’ll need a securely fenced yard where she can safely run, play, and burn off her zoomies.Marlee has been cat tested and isn’t aggressive, but she does love a good chase—playfully, of course! She’d do best in a home where cats are either dog-savvy or not easily startled. If you’re ready for a loving, energetic companion who will reward your efforts with endless affection and tail wags, Marlee might just be your perfect match!Marlee`s adoption fee includes her spay, microchip, Rabies vaccine, DAPP vaccines, Bordetella vaccine, heartworm test (if over 9 months old), and kept up to date on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. If you are interested in adopting Marlee, you may fill out an application at www.tlcsh.org or you are welcome to make a Match Making appointment to come out and meet her first. We are open Tuesday – Sunday 1:00pm to 4:00pm.

Story
Meet Ritchie Rich 💚 Adopt Ritchie Ritchie may not be the kind of dog who wows you in the first five minutes—but give him a little time, and you’ll see the real Ritchie: a total love nugget with a heart of gold. 💫 Ritchie is a 40–50 lb Australian Kelpie mix who came to us from Bibb County Animal Control. He can be a bit shy when meeting new people (especially men), but once he knows you, his affectionate, silly side shines through. He’s especially fond of the ladies—our volunteer Debbie walks him often and swears he’s absolutely perfect. If her house wasn’t already full, Ritchie would be snuggled on her couch by now! Ritchie’s the kind of pup who needs a few leash walks and slow intros to build trust. He’s not going to run into your arms on day one—but the bond you’ll build with him is the kind that lasts a lifetime. He’s treat motivated, so making friends with him comes with sweet bribes and tail wags. 💡 Ritchie’s favorite things: Long walks and hiking adventures Kisses (once he knows you) Lady dogs (he gets along better with the gals) Snacks. So many snacks. He’s neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and ready for a patient, kind human who will give him the time he needs to blossom. Ritchie may not show well in the shelter, but trust us—he’s a hidden gem. If you’re the kind of person who believes in second chances, quiet connections, and letting love grow slowly and beautifully... Ritchie is waiting for you. 🐾 Ready to meet your hiking buddy and secret sweetheart? 👉 Apply to adopt Ritchie
