Story
Pongo has been with us since he was 3 months old. He is happy and has high energy. He definitely needs a yard and space to run around. He does know how to use the bathroom outside and does so regularly, but he has a small bladder and sometimes will go in the house. He is not fixed yet and has a distended testicle. He is up to date on his shots and has been cared for and boarded regularly at our vet. He does chew at times and is used to being crated when he is not supervised. He is a really good dog; he just needs some training and someone who has time. He gets along well with my cat and also did with our other dog that my older daughter now has. We are putting him up for adoption because we have to move, and the place we are moving to does not accept pets. I am looking to rehome him by the end of September.

This playful pup is ready to discover the world alongside a loving family of her own, meet Ivy! Ivy has lots of potential to grow into a fun, devoted family dog. She is dog and child friendly. At this young age, Ivy is still learning about the world, and her personality will continue to develop as she grows. Her new family will have the opportunity to introduce her to new experiences, teach her good manners, and help shape the wonderful dog she becomes. Like most puppies this age, Ivy hasn’t mastered potty or crate training yet, and that’s perfectly normal! She’s just beginning her training journey. Young puppies are little sponges, and with patience, consistency, positive reinforcement, and a good routine, Ivy should have every opportunity to catch on quickly. Fern enjoys playtime and exploring her surroundings, but she also appreciates quiet moments and affection. She has a gentle, friendly nature and gets along well with both male and female dogs. She hasn’t yet been exposed to cats, so we can’t speak to how she’d do there. Due to her energy level, Fern will do best in a home with children over 10. As a possible Catahoula Leopard Dog/Shepherd mix, Fern is likely to be intelligent and active. She’s looking for a family that understands the time, patience, and consistency a young dog needs and is excited to help her grow into the confident, well-rounded dog she’s meant to be. Meet Pogo — a playful pup with a name that fits perfectly, always ready to bounce into his next adventure! Pogo is a possible Catahoula/Pointer mix, and he's got puppy energy to spare! Like most puppies his age, Pogo is playful, curious, and endlessly adventurous — but he's just as happy to curl up for a good nap once all that energy has been burned off. It really is feast or famine with this guy: full speed ahead, or fully snoozing. And if you've got a tennis ball on hand? Consider his attention fully captured. Pogo has been great with dogs, cats, and kids — he's currently fostered with several children of a wide range of ages and does wonderfully with all of them, making him a fantastic fit for a busy family household. This smart guy is already leash trained and potty trained, and he'll go into his crate when asked — though given the choice, he'd much rather be snuggled up in bed with his people! He's had no accidents in his crate and has been doing very well with potty training when kept on a consistent schedule, as is typical for a puppy.
