I am 54 lbs, and I am looking for my forever home. Adoption Donation: $450 Zee’s journey started as a stray in Tennessee, and now she’s hoping to find the forever home she’s always deserved. This sweet girl has a gentle soul, but the busy shelter environment can be overwhelming for her. When meeting new people, Zee may quietly shake and need a little extra reassurance. The people who know her best—our kennel staff and dedicated volunteers—will tell you what a loving, affectionate dog she truly is. She thrives on routine, adores other dogs, and blossoms once she feels safe and comfortable. Zee isn’t looking for perfection; she’s looking for patience. She needs a family willing to give her the time and understanding to adjust to a new home and show her that the world isn’t so scary. In return, you’ll get the chance to watch a shy girl gain confidence and become a loyal, loving companion. If you have a kind heart and a little patience, Zee just might be your perfect match. All dogs are microchipped, neutered, current on all vaccines, heartworm tested (if age appropriate), and up-to-date on preventatives at the time of adoption. All household members and any dogs from the household need to be present to be able to adopt. A photo ID will be required at the time of adoption. Appointments are recommended. All applications are considered general. Specific animals are NOT put on hold for adoption. When you visit, our adoption counselors will be able to make suggestions based on the type of pet you are looking for and help you find the best fit for your family. Animal House Shelter cannot guarantee the breeds of the adoptable animals. The animals are posted on the website as the breed or breed mix based on their physical characteristics they most resemble.
