Story
Apollo James` Compatibility:Dogs - Let`s meet!Cats - Yes, he`s lived with one and passed his cat test!Kids - Teens 14 and upApollo James is handsome enough to stop people mid-sentence. He knows it, too. This striking guy has weathered more than his share, and he landed with us at one of the lowest points of his life. He can`t understand why his world changed, only that it did, and lately things have felt a little unpredictable. He`s just hoping someone will show him it can be gentle again.Apollo doesn`t give his heart to just anyone. He`s a slow-warmer. New people, unfamiliar rooms, the general commotion of a place he doesn`t know yet, he`d rather size it all up from a comfortable distance, decide for himself that things are okay, and then walk over to you on his own four feet. His love is so worth waiting for. The Apollo his favorite humans know is a peanut-butter devotee who hoards stuffed toys and rides shotgun like he owns the truck. His ideal setup is a calm, quiet home where the doorbell isn`t going off every ten minutes, with a grown-up household (teens fourteen and up) who understand that the best bonds are built slowly. Someone who`s shared their life with a dog before and knows that confidence is earned rather than rushed will be his match made in heaven. He`s also wonderful with cats!Apollo James has spent a long while wondering whether people stick around. Come be the one who does.

Has summer allergies that causes dry skin and severe itchy ears. Currently suffering from fleas and severe dry skin, losing patches of fur. Is great with you once you get bonded with her. She loves deeply. Has trauma from a shelter. Do not raise in a motion close to what may look like a strike. Has higher protein dietary needs. But can consume most dog food. Is not house trained, part of the abuse from the shelter was neglect of bathroom use, so I let her use the bathroom freely. She is great with other dogs that are female. I have yet to have her near a male dog.
