Amira is a goofy girl who absolutely loves her people! She’s happiest when she’s right by your side—whether you’re doing chores around the house or settling in for a movie night, she’ll be there keeping you company. Amira does great with other dogs and kids, and she loves playing tug-of-war with her dog friends or proudly carrying a stuffy around like it’s her prized possession. Food is definitely one of her favorite things! When it’s time to eat, she gets so excited she’ll bounce all the way to her kennel like a little bucking bronco. She knows how to sit, and when you ask her to “down,” she’ll happily flop right onto her back. Amira walks on a leash and does well, though she can occasionally get nervous and put on the brakes—but a few treats and some encouragement get her moving again. She’s ready for her forever home and would do great as an only dog or with canine siblings. Amira is just looking for a family to love—and to stick close to forever. Local adoption fee is $200(in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport your area)

So, saved by a nice nice lady and a wonderful lady who also helps feed unwanted dogs on the streets. So she saved me!! I am a sweet girl, great with other dogs, kids andI am so so happy to have a foster mom who loves me and feeds me every day! I couldn't have imagined this! I am such a happy girl, I hope you will see me and KNOW that I am your newest best friend!! i am waiting!!! She sleeps through the night in her crate like a champ. ✨ Personality & Quirks Maple can still get nervous with loud noises or quick movements, and sometimes pees when she’s scared. Uhhhh babe alert!! Pippi is about 2 years old, 55lb and a Dalmatian (?maybe pointer?) mix and she is an absolute babe. From the liver spots to the squishy jowls we are so obsessed. Pippi is not just all looks though; she’s got the brains of a hunting or sporting dog. She’d be ideal for someone who wants a companion in hunting, fishing or even agility training. She will master new commands in minutes but she’ll keep you on your toes if she’s bored. If she sounds like the right fit, apply today before she’s snatched up! All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information. We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. Roux is a male Catahoula Leopard mix. True to his breed, he is very energetic and loves to interact with his people. Remember, a tired dog is a good dog. He would love an active family to keep up with or another active/playful dog in the home.  We are working on crate training. So far, I have to lift him into the crate. He barks at first but he settle down quickly with a toy or bone to entertain himself.  Reinforcing potty training with routine potty breaks.  He is still mouthy, so working to redirect him to appropriate chewing (i.e., dog toys and bones and not my hands).  Older kids would be best for him as he likes to jump on you in his excitement. Meet Wink!   I bet you can guess how she got her name! This beautiful pup is a best forever friend in waiting. Wink loooves her people and loves nothing more than hanging out with them and lounging next to them.  She fancies herself a lap dog!  She is a huge fan of taking walks and gets very excited when she sees her leash…she’s a very smart girl, and eager to please! She also loves treats and is very motivated by them.   Wink is: -house and crate trained -does fine with calmer dogs, but no higher energy dogs, cats, or small children please -loves the older children in her foster home -can be food aggressive so is fed in her crate -can be a touch protective so her ideal home has little traffic -a little nervous meeting new people and some adult dogs, so slow intros (and a piece of cheese) help July 15, 2025, 4:26 pm
