Amira is a goofy girl who absolutely loves her people! She’s happiest when she’s right by your side—whether you’re doing chores around the house or settling in for a movie night, she’ll be there keeping you company. Amira does great with other dogs and kids, and she loves playing tug-of-war with her dog friends or proudly carrying a stuffy around like it’s her prized possession. Food is definitely one of her favorite things! When it’s time to eat, she gets so excited she’ll bounce all the way to her kennel like a little bucking bronco. She knows how to sit, and when you ask her to “down,” she’ll happily flop right onto her back. Amira walks on a leash and does well, though she can occasionally get nervous and put on the brakes—but a few treats and some encouragement get her moving again. She’s ready for her forever home and would do great as an only dog or with canine siblings. Amira is just looking for a family to love—and to stick close to forever. Local adoption fee is $200(in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport your area)

So, saved by a nice nice lady and a wonderful lady who also helps feed unwanted dogs on the streets. So she saved me!! I am a sweet girl, great with other dogs, kids andI am so so happy to have a foster mom who loves me and feeds me every day! I couldn't have imagined this! I am such a happy girl, I hope you will see me and KNOW that I am your newest best friend!! i am waiting!!! She sleeps through the night in her crate like a champ. ✨ Personality & Quirks Maple can still get nervous with loud noises or quick movements, and sometimes pees when she’s scared. If startled, she may bolt — usually just to hunker down under furniture — so a secure yard and watchful eye are important. ✨ Good with Others • Plays well with other dogs 🐶 • Gets along with cats 🐱 • Great with kids 💕 • Still a little unsure about men at first, but has warmed up beautifully to her foster dad. ✨ Other Notes Maple should not be around chickens — she will chase and try to eat them 🐔. Meet Wink!   I bet you can guess how she got her name! This beautiful pup is a best forever friend in waiting. Wink loooves her people and loves nothing more than hanging out with them and lounging next to them.  She fancies herself a lap dog!  She is a huge fan of taking walks and gets very excited when she sees her leash…she’s a very smart girl, and eager to please! She also loves treats and is very motivated by them.   Wink is: -house and crate trained -does fine with calmer dogs, but no higher energy dogs, cats, or small children please -loves the older children in her foster home -can be food aggressive so is fed in her crate -can be a touch protective so her ideal home has little traffic -a little nervous meeting new people and some adult dogs, so slow intros (and a piece of cheese) help July 15, 2025, 4:26 pm

Cheerio is a gorgeous female Catahoula Leopard mix. True to her breed, she is very energetic and loves to interact with her. She would love an active family to keep up with or another active/playful dog in the home. She would do best with another dog in the home who is the same size or bigger as a playmate.  Crate training is going well. I have to guide her in but once inside, she settles quickly. Good news - She keeps her crate clean and she seems potty trained with routine potty breaks. Older kids would be best for her as she does like to jump on you in her excitement. Cheerio can jump my 4 foot fence. So she will need leash walked and/or a tie out or a 6 foot fence. February 8, 2026, 8:48 am
