Between my striking eyes, my one-of-a-kind eye patch, and my adorably floppy ears, I tend to turn a few heads wherever I go. What can I say? I was born to be a star. I'm about 10 months old, weigh around 45 pounds, and my people think I'm a Catahoula/Lab mix. That means I'm smart, athletic, and always up for a good time—but don't worry, I'm not one of those dogs who needs to run a marathon before breakfast. I'd call myself medium energy. I'm just as happy going for a nice walk as I am hanging out with my favorite people afterward. One of my favorite things? Making friends! I love other dogs and have a sweet, easygoing personality that makes me a great companion. Whether we're exploring the neighborhood, playing in the yard, or relaxing at home, I'm simply happy to be part of the fun. I'm still young, so I'm excited to keep learning and discovering the world with my forever family. All I need is a little love, a few treats, and someone willing to tell me what a good boy I am (which, let's be honest, won't be hard). Meet Chicken, Banana & Raisin! Who names puppies Chicken, Banana, and Raisin? We do...and somehow it fits these goofy little characters perfectly! The funniest part? Our mama is a beautiful medium-sized brown and white Basenji-looking mix. As for Dad...your guess is as good as ours! He may have had some Catahoula Leopard Dog in him, or maybe he was a bully breed. Honestly, we have no idea! Judging by our stocky little builds and unique coloring, either guess seems possible—but whatever he was, he helped make us pretty adorable. We're a hilarious bunch with the cutest little barks you've ever heard. We love to "talk" to our people, chat with the other dogs, and narrate every wrestling match like tiny sports commentators. Life is one big adventure, and we're here for all of it! When we're not zooming around or tumbling over each other, you'll find us tripping over giant stuffed toys that are somehow bigger than we are. We may not have mastered grace yet, but we've definitely mastered being adorable. If you're looking for a puppy that will keep you laughing, shower you with love, and fill your home with happy tail wags and silly antics, one of us is ready to be your new best friend. I'm named Tuffy but what I really am is a big Softy. I'm an active, sweet boy and kind of a goofball. I came from a very nice couple who loved me very much, however, they were homeless. Now don't get me wrong, they took EXCELLENT care of me, but I am a BIG boy and they were having a hard time taking me on the buses or into the shelters :( So, my parents asked the rescue to take me in and find me the right home. I'm a GORGEOUS Catahoula boy, tall, merle and HANDSOME!! My eyes tell my story and it is a good one! I'm a playful and fun, a BIG boy around 65lbs. I am learning manners and making ALL kinds of friends at the rescue, but I am waiting for the SPECIAL FRIENDS who will give me my WILDEST DREAM- A HOME! SO, look me up, don't wait... APPLY!!!!
