Story
Uhhhh babe alert!! Pippi is about 2 years old, 55lb and a Dalmatian (?maybe pointer?) mix and she is an absolute babe. From the liver spots to the squishy jowls we are so obsessed. Pippi is not just all looks though; she’s got the brains of a hunting or sporting dog. She’d be ideal for someone who wants a companion in hunting, fishing or even agility training. She will master new commands in minutes but she’ll keep you on your toes if she’s bored. If she sounds like the right fit, apply today before she’s snatched up! All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information. We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you are outside of this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter.   December 22, 2025, 10:08 am

Story
🌸 Meet Maple 🌸 Maple is a sweet, shy girl who has come such a long way in foster care. She’s learning the ropes of being a family dog and is ready for a patient, loving home to call her own. ✨ House Training & Crate She does well when taken out regularly and has been accident-free in her crate for weeks! She sleeps through the night in her crate like a champ. ✨ Personality & Quirks Maple can still get nervous with loud noises or quick movements, and sometimes pees when she’s scared. If startled, she may bolt — usually just to hunker down under furniture — so a secure yard and watchful eye are important. ✨ Good with Others • Plays well with other dogs 🐶 • Gets along with cats 🐱 • Great with kids 💕 • Still a little unsure about men at first, but has warmed up beautifully to her foster dad. ✨ Other Notes Maple should not be around chickens — she will chase and try to eat them 🐔. This gentle girl has made incredible progress and just needs someone willing to go slow, offer reassurance, and celebrate her wins. With love and patience, Maple will blossom into the most loyal companion. 🌟

Story
Chief is an energetic, healthy 5-year-old Dalmatian that I rescued when he was a puppy. He has basic obedience training and has been socialized with other dogs. When he was younger, he lived with and got along well with another rescue, a senior lady Chihuahua who has since passed on. It has been a while since Chief has lived with another dog so he would need to be properly introduced to a new sibling to ensure they get along before going to his new forever home. Chief has always done well with children, including my toddler who loves him - up until New Year's Eve when he bit my 11-year-old stepson. The bite did not require stitches. After an examination from his vet, he has a clear bill of health although we are still not sure what caused the upset. Holiday stress? Regardless, we are forced to make the tough decision to rehome our beloved family dog to a childfree home. I would also recommend a cat free home as Chief loves to chase (much to his irritation) my step father's cat.

Story
He was gotten through animal humane society. He was 1 year old when we adopted him and he is now 7 years old. He needs space to run. A large yard or farm of sorts. He loves walks and is as playful as the day we got him. He loves snuggles and just loves to be loved. He used to get along great with dogs as we used to take him to dog parks and others houses with pets but in past two years he has started to not get along with our other male dog. He gets along great with female dogs and children. He loves our babies but with having children and another male dog safety is not something I’m willing to risk if they were to try to intervene. He is a good boy just doesn’t fair well with other males.
