Meet Franklin! Franklin is about 7 weeks old and weighs around 8 lbs. We were told Franklin's mom was a Dalmatian, but we have no idea on the dad.
Franklin is a sweet, playful and adorable puppy who spends his days playing and wrestling with his brother Arthur. He loves to play, cuddle, explore, and nap. Franklin also does great with the adult dogs in his foster home. Franklin is working on his house and crate-training and doing a great job.
Because this is a young puppy, the adopter must be home during the day to continue training and socialization and help the puppy grow into a confident, well-adjusted dog.
This puppy has age-appropriate vaccines, is microchipped and will need to be spayed/neuter at 6 months of age.
🎓 FREE Post-Adoption Training Support!
All of our adoptions include 30 days of FREE training support, including:
Unlimited 1:1 access via text message to certified, positive reinforcement-based trainers.
Access to a library of 100+ animated training courses and lessons.
The option to purchase additional training support after the complimentary 30-day period.
We want our adopters—and their new family members—to have support as everyone settles into life together. ❤️
The Adoption Fee for this puppy $400.00 plus a $100.00 spay/neuter refundable deposit.
***Please note, this pup's immune system will not be fully functioning until about 16 weeks of age and therefore, s/he is not suited for Apartment/Condo living or Town homes without a private fenced yard and will not be able to go to public places where s/he could possibly be exposed to the germs of unvaccinated dogs, such as PetSmart/PetCo and dog parks until s/he is 16 weeks old***
***You must be at least 25 years of age to adopt from CKRescue***
The adoption fee for this dog is $400, which helps with the cost of routine vet care. This fee DOES NOT INCLUDE spay/neuter if the pup is not already spayed/neutered. If the animal you are adopting is not already spayed/neutered, you will be required to sign a contract legally obligating you to have the animal altered. A $100.00 fee will be returned to the adopter once the animal has been sterilized. We will provide information on this process during the approval process.
***Note that puppy adoption fees most often help generate revenue that goes towards older, special needs animals that need our help. Surgeries, heartworm treatment, boarding costs and/or all things that often result in adoptable dogs and cats being left behind to be euthanized. So, adopting a puppy saves not just one life, but many!
***Please note that our first step in approving adoption applicants is to complete a vet check. Vetting of current and past pets is very important to us, thus we will be speaking with the vet(s) listed on your application to ensure that your current and previous pet(s) are kept up to date on vaccines (including rabies), spayed or neutered, maintained on appropriate monthly preventatives and examined annually by your vet.***
Our organization cannot guarantee the exact breed of any animal in our care. The breed listed is based on any background we may have been provided, and/or the general appearance of the animal.
