Story
Hi! I'm Archer, your future best friend. Every day, I'm ready at the door with my favorite toy, hoping today's the day we play together! I'm all about cuddles and games. Imagine us playing fetch or running in the park! I'm friendly and get along great with other dogs, so if you have another pup, that's perfect for me. If you have cats, though, I am not the dog for you. I'm just a goofy, playful buddy looking for a family to share all this love and energy with. I am told I need some training to learn my manners, but hey, what a great way to bond, right? Adopt me, and let's start our adventure together. You bring the love, I'll bring the fun! Story
Jolie is a very sweet, gentle girl with a heart as big as her smile. One of her favorite things in the world is hearing her favorite volunteer call out “Jo-Leeee!”—the moment she hears it, her face lights up with the happiest grin. It’s impossible not to smile right back.Jolie is attentive, friendly, and wonderfully outgoing. She has a fun, silly side that shows when she’s feeling playful, but she also has a mellow, easygoing nature that makes her a joy to be around. Curious and engaged, she loves exploring her surroundings and truly shines when she’s outside running around and enjoying the fresh air. On walks, Jolie is a star—she walks beautifully on a leash and takes treats gently, savoring every reward. She adores her volunteers and forms sweet, meaningful bonds with the people who care for her. Jolie is looking for a loving family who will cherish her as much as she’ll cherish them in return. If you’re searching for a loyal, affectionate companion who will bring smiles, laughter, and love into your life, Jolie may be the perfect match for you.

Bonnie-Poodle/Dalmation female DOB 12-31-23 (Feb. 2026) Harlequin Contact rescuebc@hotmail.com for an application Bonnie came to Rescue through a Prison Training Program. She's been taking classes every day and doing quite well. She's crate trained, has obedience training, husbandry and grooming skills. As she's been in a Prison, we do not know about children or cats yet, but she will be tested when moved to her foster home. If you want to know about the Dalmadoodle... A Dalmadoodle is a cross between a purebred Dalmatian and a purebred Standard Poodle. This pairing is intentional, not accidental, and is designed to balance: The Dalmatian’s loyalty, athleticism, and alert nature The Standard Poodle’s intelligence, trainability, and often low-shedding coat The result is a dog that is smart, people-focused, active, and deeply bonded to its family. Temperament is one of the biggest reasons families are drawn to Dalmadoodles. They are: Affectionate and people-oriented Intelligent and eager to learn Loyal to their family Alert without being aggressive Playful, but capable of settling with proper routine Dalmadoodles tend to form strong bonds with their owners and do best in homes where they are included in daily life. This is not a breed that thrives when left alone for long periods with little interaction. Because of their intelligence, they do especially well with owners who enjoy training, structure, and engagement. Bonnie's adoption fee is $600 to help cover the medical costs of getting her ready for adoption. Story
Meet Bubba! Rescued from a high-kill shelter, this is a big, lovable, playful guy who could be the newest companion to your pack!  With soulful eyes and a tail that wags for days, this four-year-old darling is a sweetheart who just wants to find and be with his people.  He is very house-trained, working on being crate-trained (going well), knows his name, “sit" and “down," and is non-destructive when left alone. Bubba is a polite house guest. He doesn’t bark at dogs or people as they walk by, both when he’s in the house or whenever out on walks.  Attentive and affectionate, Bubba is happiest on walks or runs, playing in the yard, chewing on his toys and lounging on the couch with his people. He is a big lap dog who loves to show love and get love in return. Though he is large, he is well-behaved enough for an apartment, as long as he gets enough exercise. But if he had his preference he would love a bit of yard to go along with his walks. (And he is always down for a walk!) He is an active guy who will walk/run/play hard and nap hard. He loves to romp around in the yard, sniff everything, play fetch, and has shown to be interested but not aggressive toward wildlife. He is eager to please, food motivated (good for training) and is a champ in the car. He responds well with firm/calm direction but also handles the noise of (a lot of) kids, play and laughter with ease. Bubba needs a loving household and a person/family who will continue to train him and treat him kindly. Bubba would be happy as your only dog or with another playful dog or dogs. He has socialized well with other medium and large dogs. He shows no food aggression or resource guarding. He would do well with younger and older kids alike. He isn’t totally aware of his size but will remind you of it when he gets excited, pushes into you for attention or play or when he lays on you for cuddles. With his loving and playful heart, Bubba is ready to find a forever family who will love him. Adoption fee: $525, includes all shots, sterilized, heartworm negative, dewormed, flea preventative, microchip   If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application and a representative will get back to you shortly to answer any questions you may have.
