Story
Current Location: Ijamsville, MD Meet Toliver! 🐾 I’m Toliver, a striking 3-year-old Dalmatian ready to bring spots of joy into your life! At a handsome 46 pounds, I'm a friendly, neutered guy who is already house-trained and great on a leash, making our daily walks together an absolute breeze. True to my breed I'm an incredibly affectionate companion who loves being close to my people who requires a lot of exercise or a backyard I can run around in and do zoomies. Because I value feeling safe and secure, I’m looking for an adults-only home or one with older children that can provide me with a calm environment. Someone(s) that understand I can be a little nervous when meeting new faces at first, but once I warm up, my loving side shines right through. I also enjoy the company of other dogs! I just need slow, structured introductions to canine pals so we can build a great relationship at a comfortable pace. If you're ready for a rewarding partnership with a wonderful, loyal pup, come meet me and let's start our adventure together! This dog tested positive for heartworm disease before arriving to the rescue. The disease was treated while in foster care. Heartworm disease is transmitted to a dog through a bite from an infected mosquito. With monthly preventatives, the disease is completely preventable. Story
I welcomed my purebred Dalmatian, Maverick, into my life from a reputable Dalmatian breeder as a puppy, and he is now 3 years old. Rehoming him is, without question, one of the most difficult decisions I've had to make. I am relocating out of state and can no longer give him the time, consistency, and active lifestyle he deserves. Maverick has brought so much joy, laughter, and companionship into my life, and my only goal is to find him a family who will love him just as deeply. Maverick is an incredibly affectionate, loyal, intelligent, and playful dog with a goofy personality that makes people smile. He is house-trained, crate-trained, knows basic commands, and is eager to learn and please. Dalmatians are an active and intelligent breed, I'm looking for a forever home with someone who understands their needs and can provide him with the attention, activity, and love he deserves. I hope to find a family who will provide him the happy, secure, and loving forever home he deserves!

Story
Meet George!George is a 51-pound sweetheart who is ready to find a family to call his own. He came to us as a stray, and while someone clearly loved him at one time, no one came to reclaim him. George appears to be housebroken, already knows sit, stay, and paw, and has great manners, making us believe he was once part of a home. One of George`s favorite things is playing with tennis balls. He loves carrying them around and is always happy when it`s time to play. He also has a lovable habit of standing up to give gentle hugs to the people he meets, and he enjoys soaking up all the attention he can get.Because George came to us as a stray, we do not know how he does with cats, children, or other dogs. A dog-to-dog assessment has not yet been completed. If you already have a dog at home, we encourage you to bring them in for a meet and greet to see if they are a good match.George has so much love to give and is hoping his stay with us will be a short one. If you`re looking for a fun, affectionate companion who enjoys playing ball and being close to his people, come meet George. He may be the perfect addition to your family.

Story
Lily: mixed breed (unknown), 1 year old. She is spayed and up-to-date on shots. This bright and ambitious girl is house-broken and crate-trained. Lily loves to play with other dogs and go on walks. She rides well in a vehicle, and her attention is on her human while walking on a leash. Although she is shy and skittish around new people, with a little patience and time, she warms up and wants to be with her human. Due to her boundless energy level, I recommend a fenced yard for her to run around in or an owner who will walk her several times daily. Follow-up training (with Canine Services By Devin) is suggested to keep Lily going in a positive direction and eventually off-leash training if desired. Lily is being fostered in Spring Grove, PA.
