He enjoys being brushed, is now taking treats from his foster’s hand, and is gradually getting used to a leash. Dee Dee is a 1 year old and a Dalmatian mix. She has been in foster since she was around 4 months old and knows how to use the doggie door. She is a bit skittish and cowers with sudden movements so a home without children is a must. Dee Dee doesn’t like abrupt affection so she needs a patient and adult only home. With dogs, she can be a little bit of a bully given the temperament of others in the pack. If there is another dog in the home, she would do best with another pup who’s isn’t overly dominant but not a pushover either as she will test them to see she if she can be the dominant dog. She needs another pup who can be her equal. Dee Dee really is a sweet girl who will be a loyal and loving companion for a single person or adult only family. Ruby and Marshall are a bonded pair. They have been together with their owner for a very long time. However, their beloved human has passed away, so they are in need of a new forever home. They can go separately. They need someone that can spend a lot of time with them. They are very affectionate and are always starved for attention, as their previous owner gave them all of his attention every day. They are both housebroken and do very well on a leash. They also love to play in a fenced in yard together. Their previous owner seemed to have them on a schedule where he would take them out every 3 hours for paly and potty breaks. Ruby and Marshall would make a great family members for an active family. Cooper is a 4-year-old Kelpie mix with a gentle, thoughtful spirit who just needed time to feel safe. When he first arrived in his foster home, it was clear he hadn’t had much (if any) socialization with people or everyday life inside a home. Regular household sounds, movement, even the TV were overwhelming. His crate became his safe place, and he would choose to go there often just to feel secure. With patience and consistency, Cooper has slowly blossomed. Now he spends most of his day resting calmly on the couch or laying in the kitchen while meals are being made. He used to be nervous in the car, but now he gets excited to go for rides. He didn’t understand treats at first, but now he joyfully pops up on his hind legs to ask for one. Cooper does very well with dogs of all sizes and is respectful of cats. He is crate trained and doing well with potty training—he hasn’t had an accident in the house in about a week. Though he is around 4 years old, he still has a bit of youthful playfulness in him. He loves belly rubs, gentle massages, chewing on toys, and watching the world go by from the cat perch. On walks, he is calm, rarely pulls, and often looks back to “check in” with his person—he truly wants to do things right. Because unpredictable movement can still make him nervous, Cooper would do best in a calm home without young children. He needs someone who can offer patience, steadiness, and understanding. Skye is a beautiful , happy girl. She is housebroken and full of joy and smiles. She loves her toys! She is most happy just being beside her person (especially if curled up on the couch). She does like to play and can even catch a frisbee. She is trained to take treats gently. She also walks right into crate if asked. She gets along great with our other dog. Skye loves children and would love to run around in a big yard with a family. We think Skye would be fine with or without another dog. She does have a little separation anxiety when left alone so another fur friend may be good for her. Skye loves going on walks and is very good on & off leash. Bradley is a 7yr old purebred Dalmatian. I have had Bradley since he was 10 weeks old from a litter in CT. Bradley is a very loving dog that loves attention. He is housetrained and very obedient. Bradley is very food driven, he will find a way to get human food, but is only given dog food in his bowl. Bradley currently lives with another dog (female), and with a toddler. There have never been any issues of aggression. Bradley has had incidents in public with other dogs. He has never bitten another dog, but he does get along with most dog (mostly male).Bradley would thrive best in a home where he can cuddle and be given proper attention and care. He would do best if he was the sole dog, and 1-2 children that will respect his space. He does not get along with cats. If there is another dog, I have confidence that he could be integrated. He loves to be outside, and to go on adventures. Bradley is on a special single source/ vegetarian diet to reduce him getting kidney stones.

Meet Sarge, a medium-sized pointer mix who made the long trip from Alabama in search of a fresh start and a family of his own. He’s playful, silly, and wonderfully smart—the kind of dog who keeps you laughing and on your toes. Sarge loves chasing toys and then proudly parading them around the yard for everyone to admire. Once he’s had his fill of fun and exercise, he turns into a total cuddle bug who’s happiest snuggled up with his people. He’s an active guy who will thrive with regular physical and mental activity. Because he was found as a stray, we don’t have much history on his past, but his southern shelter noted that he did well with other dogs. If you have a resident dog, Sarge would love to meet them here first to be sure it’s a good fit. We do not know how he’ll do with cats or kids. He appears to be house trained. If you're looking for a bright, fun-loving companion who will reward you with endless affection, Sarge may be your perfect match! Ready to Adopt?
