Story
Stella Luna loves people!! She can be intimidated by men at first meeting. She loves a good romp in the yard, and even better, snuggling on the couch. She's a natural ratter, already eliminating mice and rats around the farm/barn. High prey drive, does NOT do well around cats or small animals. Stella was around kids fine when she was a year old, but no exposure since then. Rehoming due to instigating several big fights amongst the female dogs in her home. She’s getting along fine with the males, but does not like the females. I’m hoping to rehome her as an only dog.

Story
Pongo#26029; male; mixed breed. Estimated age 2 years; approximate weight 40#. Pongo looks like a “mini” dalmatian. He found himself in ‘custody’ of law enforcement after he allegedly killed someone’s chickens. This could indicate a high prey drive, but maybe he was just hungry??? What we know about him at this point: he is up-to-date on shots, he is very friendly with all volunteers and loves attention. He walks like a champ on a leash. He could stand to gain a couple of pounds (maybe those chickens are low in calories) and has been wormed and is getting regular feedings. He hasn’t been put into play groups yet (he has only been there a couple of days) but is very friendly with the other dogs through the fence.

Story
What's 100 pounds and covered in polka dots? Cosmo is! This 8 year old Dalmation is GREATLY overweight and working on her summer body. She was turned in to a shelter about 40 lbs overweight, unspayed, and heartworm positive. Our rescue and her foster are working on getting her slimmed down so she can get the vetting she needs to be a happy and healthy girl for the rest of her life! Once Cosmo is vetted, she will be available for adoption!
