Story
Meet Addy, the unstoppable 13-year-old Australian Kelpie mix who just celebrated her big birthday in style! Age is just a number for this lively tripod pup, who loves nothing more than a good game of fetch, zooming around the yard with boundless energy, and showing off her smarts. Addy is crate-trained, appears to be potty-trained, and knows a variety of commands—she’s a fast learner and eager to please! Inside the home, she loves relaxing and cuddling with her people. In her staycation foster home, Addy is getting along wonderfully with the resident dogs and is currently living with kids. She does have a small mass on her leg, but it doesn’t slow her down one bit! Her spirit and heart shine through in everything she does, making Addy a truly exceptional companion who’s ready to keep spreading joy wherever she goes.

Story
Meet Bandit – Your New Adventure Buddy! Bandit is a joyful, high-energy Kelpie mix weighing 37 lbs, and he’s ready to bring nonstop fun to his forever home. He is just under a year old. With his adorable ears and playful spirit, Bandit turns heads and hearts wherever he goes. His favorite person? Any human willing to give him love and attention—he thrives on companionship and will quickly become your shadow and best friend. Bandit is house-trained and working on his crate training—he naps well after playtime but may bark if he’s still got energy to burn. He’s already mastered “sit” and “shake,” and his smarts make him a fast learner. He walks wonderfully on a leash and loves car rides—he's your ideal travel companion. This active boy LOVES to play fetch, enjoys all toys, and keeps himself entertained with bones. He’s also known for his hilarious habit of climbing on anything he can—tables, chairs, or anything just a little too high for a dog! He is very smart and has mastered "sit" and "shake". Bandit gets along well with large dogs who can match his energetic playstyle. He’s also great with kids (ages 7–8 so far) and lights up when they give him pets and attention. His ideal home would include another playful dog or an active family who can keep up with his adventurous spirit. When you look at Bandit, you’ll hear one thing loud and clear: “WHO WANTS TO PLAY?!” If you’re looking for a smart, fun-loving, happy pup to be your sidekick in life, Bandit is your guy! What’s your favorite flower? Well, we’ve got a whole arrangement for you to choose from! Found in San Marcos, Texas, these little buds came to SNIPSA as bottle babies. Now, after a few weeks in foster care, they are ready to open up and soak in the spring sunshine with YOU! A mixed bunch, we see traits of both the Catahoula Leopard Dog breed and the Shepherd breed in this group of nine. They will be medium or large-sized dogs that will retain a playful and loyal temperament as they grow. Catahoulas, originally bred to hunt hogs, are naturally energetic and intelligent. So, in addition to their pretty petals, you can expect your new companion to flourish in their new home, given adequate training and exercise! Spring brings new beginnings, and in this case, a new bestie. Just pick one and apply today!

Story
To let my legs run someplace in the sun, I’d spring and play until the day was done. Oh, to rest in the evening breeze close to the ones I love–that is my dream! We are Sunny and Drew, two Pointer/Hound pups rescued in November 2024. Since coming into SNIPSA’s program, we have found our stride and have never been happier! In our foster home, we are the perfect blend of playful energy and cuddly charm. If we are not wrestling around together, we are napping in a dogpile or snuggling up to the first human we can find. Our foster has us on our best behavior…we have learned our potty manners and are working to master all our commands, too! We even ride perfectly in the car on our trips to the SNIPSA office or adoption events. While our breed is not certain, there is no denying we are friendly (even with cats!), active, and goofy. One or both of us would make great family pets. We are holding fast to our dream to find our forever home! Could it be with you? Apply to meet one of us today!
