Story
Millie is an adorable goof with a lot of love to give! She is house trained and knows basic commands. She is also crate trained. We have had her since she was a puppy, but as our family has grown she has not adapted well. Part of that is she has PICA which causes her to eat very unusual things - her favorites being diapers, wipes, and foil wrappers. She has also dined on hair bows, q-tips, and socks. Our children are young and we do our best to keep everything off the ground, but the toddlers are more feral than Millie! She is also a very active dog and loves to run and play. She has the desire to herd as the dalmatians do under carriages, which means she will nip at hands and sides when playing. We think Millie would do best in a home with older children or adults only. She is very clever and loves pets and scratches! If you think this lovable oaf would be a good fit your family, we would love to hear from you!

Story
A Sweet Soul and Loyal Companion Yuki has a gentle, observant nature and loves taking in the world around her. With mostly white fur, delicate gray freckles, and striking black markings on part of her face and ears, she has a distinctive look that perfectly matches her sweet and gentle personality. When Yuki first arrived, Yuki was understandably shy and overwhelmed by all of the changes in her life. Since then, she has been thriving in foster care and has blossomed into a loving companion. Yuki is friendly and gentle. She greets anyone with a happily wagging tail. She leans in for pets and loves to spend time by your side. She genuinely enjoys being around people and forming close bonds. Yuki is house-trained, can be left alone, and has done well living with other dogs. She’s also used to living with young children. Her foster reported that she is very gentle and tolerates pets from them. She walks nicely on leash, checking in with her handler along the way, and she knows commands like sit, shake, and wave. Yuki is happy on walks, loves to play, and enjoys getting comfortable on the couch, too. Yuki is a stable, happy girl whose seizure disorder is well-managed with a simple, twice-daily medication routine. About every 4-6 weeks, Yuki experiences what her foster family calls a quick "computer reboot." Her brain has a brief electrical misfire where she goes to sleep for a couple of minutes. She doesn't feel any pain or even realize it's happening! Our team will walk you through exactly what happens and show you just how easy it is to care for her. These short moments don't impact her daily life at all; her care fits perfectly right alongside her favorite routine of walks, short bouts of play, and snuggling on the couch. If you're looking for a kind-hearted, loyal companion who will reward you with deep trust and endless affection, Yuki is the perfect match for you and your family.
