Story
Snickers is available for adoption in TX, PNW and NE (excluding MA) Meet Snickers! This adorable 6-month-old Catahoula mix puppy is full of life and ready to find his forever home. Bursting with puppy energy and enthusiasm, Snickers loves to run, play, chew, and be loved. He has a particular fondness for water and mud, making bath time extra fun! While he listens on his own terms, Snickers is getting quite good at sitting when treats are involved, showing he is smart and eager to learn with the right motivation. True to his puppy nature, Snickers loves to chew on toys and dig in pots, so providing him with appropriate chew toys and a safe digging area will keep him happy and occupied. Snickers does well being crated at night for up to 8 hours, giving his future family peace of mind and a good night's sleep. He plays well with the resident dog, even though the dog can be a bit territorial. Snickers is still learning about personal space with new dog friends and would love to jump into playtime right away. He shows interest in chasing and barking at cats, but with dedicated one-on-one training and attention, Snickers has the potential to coexist peacefully with feline friends. Snickers would thrive in a home that can keep up with his high energy levels and provide him with plenty of playtime and exercise. He needs a family willing to invest time in training and socialization to help him become a well-rounded adult dog. If you have a dog-savvy cat and are willing to work on his training, Snickers could be a great addition to your family. Are you ready to welcome a bundle of joy and energy into your home? Story
Oakley has severe fear of males and people he does not know, to the point he will bite if they do not respect his space or instructions given by me to allow him time to be comfortable with your presence. He also does not get along with other dogs as he feels he needs to fight for his position and will target submissive dogs. He has gotten into fights with 2 of my dogs here in the home to the point that one needed stitches and the other died due to infection complications. We have secluded Oakley away from other dogs in the home and ensure he goes outside or roams the house when it is just him. He responds to a strong, alpha female. If you show any signs of uncertainty or lack of control of the room he will gain dominance. Now the good stuff! He is extremely smart, great memory, a goofball, very athletic, LOVES water, is acrobatic and enjoys showing off his toys to have you pull it with him then reward him for playing so gently with you. He is a delight one on one.

Story
Kuma was adopted from an accidental litter in Austin, TX. She's 2 years old and she's the sweetest pup you'll ever meet. Kuma would do great in a house with an active family and/or with another puppy sibling. She loves going on walks, playing fetch and tug-o-war, and being cuddled. She's house-trained and knows many commands to varying degrees of discipline, but if you have treats she's all ears. She's crate trained. She sleeps in there through the night. She is also good in there during the day time for up to 3-4 hours if need be (better if she has plenty of play time before that). She has no behavioral issues except being the most lovable dog I've ever known. Rehoming fee can include all her belongings if requested. Includes leash, harness, crate, toys, food, etc.

Story
SKYLAR is a happy, loving 2 year old Catahoula mix looking for a home to enjoy life with her human(s). She's a great girl, all about pleasing her people. Skylar has a medium energy level, enjoys going for walks/hikes/trails, but is also content to hang out and be chill. She's up for any adventure, activity or couch cuddle time with you. Beautiful girl with gorgeous eyes, likes to be inside, laying by your feet while you work. Great human companion. Dog friendly with male dogs her size but prefers to be the only female dog. Housetrained. Crate trained. Sleeps through the night in her crate and would happily sleep on a dog bed in your room. Not destructive inside or outside. Food motivated and loves treats. Knows basic commands 'sit, come' and would love to learn more. Super smart due to breed. Walks well on leash. Rides well in the car. Squirrels and cats are fun for her to chase, so no small dogs, cats or critters in her new home. Not a big barker. Doesn't mind being in her crate for a few hours, but we are looking for a home where she will not be left alone for long hours. A home with a fully fenced yard would be best. Skylar is 55 lbs. spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, including rabies, heartworm negative and current on prevention. Happy to answer any questions you might have. Thank you for considering sweet Skylar!

Story
Hello! I have two sweet pups that go by the names Busy and Buster. Busy is a curious, smart girl who is believed to be a Catahoula Leopard Dog (we were told mutts/mixed) This breed is very intelligent, loyal to their family, curious, and active. Perfect for someone wanting a pal on their runs or hikes. All her! She also enjoys affection and toys! Buster is a playful yet sleepy funny guy! Although we were informed that he was from the same litter I do not believe that he is also a Leopard Dog but I could be wrong. Nevertheless, he is a character all on his own! Buster is somewhat of a goofball. A little floppy, playful and enjoys a good nap! Both pups are a little over 2 months old and are current on puppy shots. Training is ongoing. They were adopted from the Pflugerville Animal Shelter only 5 days ago but upon discovering the roots of the pups we feel we are not the right fit. These pups would do best with a yard and more one on one time and it seems we cannot provide that.

Very sweet dog that is a perfect companion for anyone that has love to give Ajax is needy, but only for attention. When it thunders, prepare for him to want to cuddle a little more because he gets a little nervous. Ajax is a good watchdog in that he will bark at strangers coming to the house but has never been aggressive toward anyone.

Story
I took Kino in temporarily about a year ago. I wish I could keep him but I cannot so I am looking for a good home and good fit for him and his new family. Not sure of his breed but was told possibly a Bull Mastiff and Catahoula mix. Kino is about 4.5-5 yrs old . I think he would be well suited for a male or possibly even a younger adult female that can handle his weight when he is playing tug o war with the rope or just walking. He listens very well. He does not like water but LOVES to go for rides. I don't let him on the bed but i do let him on the couch. He loves to move all the throw pillows around and get them just right before he lays his head down for a nap. Kino is a unique dog that doesn't require a lot of attention - once you've had him for a week, you'll know what i mean - just a GREAT dog that is full of love!! Adoption fee will be donated back to the shelter.

Story
Lilly was adopted by us from San Marcos Animal Shelter. We have had her about 7 years and think she was just under a year when we adopted her. She was labeled as “Rhodesian Ridgeback” at the shelter but we have thought she is more lab than anything. The shelter found her roaming the streets and when the owner was contacted he/she stated she was too big so he/she no longer wanted her. She has a tiny scar on the top of her nose and bottom of her jaw from a mussel or dog bite. She is fearful of other dogs so we assume something happened before she came into our home. We are making the hard decision to rehome her due to her not being able to be around our toddler. She is very loving and has never had an accident in our home! She is a cuddle bug! I think she would do best in a home with no other animals or kids.
