Story
Goose is a sweet, energetic boy! We adopted him from the local shelter (BARC) in mid-Sept. - 1 yr old (birthday is 9/27) - 38 lbs (tall but thin; full grown) - 50% Dalmatian, 33% pittie, 17% Doberman (per Embark DNA testing) - Microchipped - Housebroken! - Crate trained - Knows basic commands, but needs reinforcement Why are we rehoming such an amazing dog, you're probably asking? I ask myself that, too. :( - Goose does NOT love cats. Not even a little bit. Need to keep our cat safe. - We have an 8 lb chihuahua mix who Goose is cool with, but he wants to play and is big and can be rough when he paws at her. It stresses her. I think Goose would be great with dogs his size or larger. Goose will need additional training for resource guarding. We do fine now by crating him when his food is being prepped and while eating and when giving treats/chews. He's doing better after three weeks with us.
