Story
Max was my mother's dog before she passed away on 10/31/2025. He is the sweetest little cuddle bug and is hyper aware of your mood and will be there for you anytime you need a hug or love. He loves to play ball but will also curl up with you or on his bed and enjoy a calm night in. I wish I could keep him but I just don't have to space or resources to give him the life he deserves.

Story
Meet Harold – The Gentle Gentleman Harold is a 5-year-old, 53 lb Dalmatian/Lab mix with the sweetest soul and impeccable manners. This well-behaved boy is a joy to have around—he walks beautifully on a leash, loves his daily strolls, and still plays with the enthusiasm of a puppy when he’s with his doggy housemates. Why is Harold the perfect companion? He is gentle, kind, and wonderfully well-mannered. Harold is great on a leash and loves his walks. He is playful yet calm, striking the perfect balance. Harold is also immaculately house trained and crate trained. Plus he is loyal and affectionate—he loves being by your side every step of the way. Harold is currently undergoing treatment for heartworms, but he’s on track to be heartworm-free soon. His resilience and gentle spirit shine through, and he’s more than ready to bring joy, companionship, and love to his forever family. Ready to make Harold a member of your family? Story
I am a 5 year old Dalmatian who is ready to find my forever family. While I love my daily walks, my absolute favorite activity is being wherever you are. I am a true velcro dog, who loves to.lean against your legs and curl up for snuggle time. I am house trained, gentle, and smart. I can be a little excited when meeting new people at first, but once I know you, I am devoted for life. I am looking for a loving, patient home where I can get lots of attention and be a true part of the family. Friendly and socialized!

Story
This is Pepper - she is joyful- and the most lovable and being all these things- no one has come looking for her. Despite being in an unfamiliar place -she is so eager to meet strangers and give kisses. Her biggest joy in life is giving hugs- laying in the grass - and of course - chomping on treats. We are not certain of her previous living situation as she came in as a stray- but she is so content with a warm blanket and doing her business at the back of her kennel. We do think miss Pepper is still indeed young- and therefore has the heart of a puppy. When she gets excited she may wee upon being so happy to see you. Peppered is ultimately the sweetest - she has peppered licorice on her white paws! Hello there the adoption fee is $20.00 CASH OR CHECK it is low as we do not spay/neuter our animals or vaccinate as we do not have a vet on site. Upon adoption you would sign a legal contract stating that within sixty days you will get them sterilized and vaccinated per state requirement. Sometimes due to age or complications the 60 day window can be extended however only by a vets discretion. Your contract is not fulfilled and your adoption of the pet cannot be successfully closed until proof of sterilization and vaccination is provided to us from the adopter. You may come to the shelter any day of the week between 8 am and 4:30 pm, just please give us a call beforehand to let us know you are coming at 281 291 5644. Thank you!
