Story
Foster pup Dottie is settling in and coming out of her shell more and more each day. She is such a sweetheart. Very gentle and always happy, even when she is a little unsure of her surroundings. She loves getting in the pool and running laps with our dogs. Mealtime is her favorite time. She is being the best little house guest. Dottie will have her leg evaluated for surgery options 7/17. Dottie needs a forever home and we need funds for her surgery. application - https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/RCDR-A-7018

Story
Ollie is a male neutered 8 year old purebred Dalmatian. He is protective, loyal and cuddly with his owners. He is a great guard dog and is very active and alert. He likes to run, eat, sleep, watch tv, travel, go to the beach. He would make a great best friend to a person or couple with no kids. We have had Ollie almost all his life and we have had to make the difficult decision to rehome due to him not liking kids. He has tolerated our toddlers but as he is getting older his temper has gotten shorter and we did have a bite incident with our 3 year old. Ollie is a bit of a nervous dog, he does not like to be in a crate and he needs extra comfort during thunderstorms and fireworks. He does not like strangers and prefers to give all his love to his owners.

Story
Perdita (Purdy) is a pretty quiet dog. She loves pets and loves when she gets scratches on her chest. We began fostering Perdita a few years ago, and thought that she would be able to stay with us full-time. As our other dog is getting really old (13), she is not get along with the younger (bigger) dogs. This is making too difficult to keep all the dogs. Perdita gets along fine with our other big dog. She likes to wrestle and play. She loves to explore the yard and watch the birds and squirrels. Perdita loves to lay on the floor near her human friends and relax.

Story
Patient and Independent Cope joined our family as a puppy six years ago and has grown into an incredibly sweet, loyal, and well-mannered companion. He spent his early years growing up alongside our then school-aged children, making him exceptionally patient, protective, and gentle. Cope offers the absolute best of both worlds: he is a magnificent, athletic runner outside, but the moment he steps foot in the house, he transforms into a calm, respectful, and quiet housemate. His Personality Sweet & Independent: Cope loves his humans and enjoys being in the same room with you, but he isn’t needy or overly clingy. He likes to show his affection in short, sweet bursts before happily retreating to his own spot for a quiet nap. Outdoor Enthusiast: He has a great athletic spirit! He loves to run around the yard and possesses a classic, playful curiosity for nature. Gentle Soul: He is remarkably patient and has a proven track record of being wonderful around children and even smaller pets.

Story
We call her Ewe-nice because she is much like a black lamb! She is bashful at first- and almost army crawls on her way to snuggle next to you :). If you want a dark shadow to follow you in the nicest way- Ewenice is your girl! She has the deepest most soulful chocolate brown eyes- and stares at you sweetly until you give her attention. Ewenice actually presses herself into her kennel gate to get close to strangers- and is always- and we mean always- swinging her tail back and forth. If you want a gentle dog that will love you more than you love her- please come by and take a look at this black lamb. :) Hello there the adoption fee is $20.00 CASH OR CHECK it is low as we do not spay/neuter our animals or vaccinate as we do not have a vet on site. Upon adoption you would sign a legal contract stating that within sixty days you will get them sterilized and vaccinated per state requirement. Sometimes due to age or complications the 60 day window can be extended however only by a vets discretion. Your contract is not fulfilled and your adoption of the pet cannot be successfully closed until proof of sterilization and vaccination is provided to us from the adopter. You may come to the shelter any day of the week between 8 am and 4:30 pm, just please give us a call beforehand to let us know you are coming at 281 291 5644. Thank you!
