Story
Astro is a goofy, energetic, and loyal Dalmatian mix with a whole lot of personality. He’s passionate about fetch (seriously—he won’t stop bringing the ball!), and he’s happiest when he’s playing outside, being by your side, or sneaking into bed for cuddles. Astro is a special dog who thrives in a stable, structured home with someone who understands strong-willed, working breeds. He’s not super cuddly in the traditional sense, but he’s always around, always watching, and always ready for play. If you’re an experienced dog owner with a calm home and lots of love (and balls!), Astro just might be your perfect match.

Layla is a big, happy girl bursting with playful energy and love. In her previous home, she loved lounging on the bed, soaking up attention, and staying active with plenty of exercise. At the shelter, she’s been waiting for months and is craving the comfort and connection of a loving home. Layla can be a bit selective with other dogs, so a meet-and-greet with any potential dog siblings is a must. She’s looking for an active family who can match her zest for life and provide her with the love, structure, and adventures she thrives on.If you're ready for a loyal, affectionate companion with a big heart and even bigger personality, Layla is eager to meet you!Est. Story
NEVER MET A STRANGER!  Est. DOB 7/15/24, est. adult weight 35-40 lbs. Hello world, I’m Roux! I’m an affectionate, loyal, and gentle mostly-golden Catahoula Leopard Dog mix gal with a beautiful dappled pattern that decorates the taupe “blanket” on my back. I weighed 30 pounds at 9 months old, so I may weigh 5-10 pounds more when I’m mature. I’m actually the perfect medium size – Goldilocks would say that I’m not too small and yappy, not too large and hulky, but “just right.” I’ve never met a stranger, and I greet every hooman and every dog whom I meet with a friendly bark and a flurry of tail-wags. I’m bursting with puppy energy, sass, and spunk.  Playtime is my favorite part of the day, especially when I can chase after my big Pittie foster brother. I’m smart as a whip, so I’ve already learned the “sit” and “down” commands. It helps that I’ve never met a treat that I didn’t like. Whenever Foster Mom has a treat in hand, she has my attention and can teach me anything! I even enjoy road trips and relax quietly until I can discover the adventures waiting for me when we arrive at our destination. My foster mom found me tied to a tree in the neighborhood park. Can you imagine someone abandoning a sweet girl like me? Foster Mom comforted me when she said that this happens to a lot of dogs when their masters have had a financial reversal and can no longer afford to care for their dog companions. I’m not looking back! Instead, I’m dreaming of all the joy and love that I can bring to my forever home. Could that be with you? Arrange to meet me! I promise to cover your face with mushy puppy kisses.  HOPE ID D25-0404-0021 If you are interested in Roux and would like to fill out a Dog Adoption Application, please go to: http://www.homelesspets.net/adoption-forms/dog-adoption.php . Submitting an application does not obligate you to adopt from us but it initiates contact with us and gets the process started.
