Story
Think you and Kettle Corn might be a match, but you want to do a trial run at home first? You can foster Kettle Corn-meaning you'll take them home for one week with the intention of adopting them at the end of their stay. If things don't work out, you can always bring them back to us. If you're interested, come see us or contact us at adoptions@sfspca.org to learn more. __Kettle Corn is not just a tasty snack at a sports game but can be a year-round treat for your home. Kettle Corn is a young, bouncy boy that has lots of adoring fans all over the city, bay and beyond! His excitement and jubilant personality make him a great fit for lots of different types of families and homes - are you a single person hoping for an active dog to get you out and about and maybe meet more folks in the neighborhood, or have multiple people all involved in activities and want a friend to keep you company? Kettle Corn is a social butterfly with lots of people and dog friends and can certainly help you expand your social circles too! Kettle Corn was recently out to a fantastic staycation with an alumnus and was super stoked to get to play little bro for a week. He was a star - able to chill in his signature pose (on his back all four legs in the air), liked lounging stretched out on the cool floor, offering lots of play opportunities with tub, chase, digging, or any other way you want to play! Call this dude, Mr. Adaptable! Kettle Corn is just an excited little guy that is hoping to find his match! Come meet sweet, crunchy, sometimes salty Kettle Corn today!

Story
AXL is a terrific 1-year old dog. We absolutely adore him! He's a total rock star at the dog park and his off-leash recall is fantastic! He LOVES all dogs (A LOT) and knows how to play well with any dog. He's probably a purebred Doberman Pinscher and very sweet, lovable and affectionate with people. He can sit and has very good manners. He's needs daily exercise and playtime at the dog park or hikes, but after he's totally chill. He loves doggy daycares and is very popular with the big dogs! He's highly responsive to training and has a very gentle mouth when taking treats. He is a very nice pup who loves being around people and bonds super fast. He's crate-trained too! Like all young dogs, he could use continued training, and consistent exercise to become the best adult dog ever. He's fantastic at dog parks, and daycare and rides well in cars. And he loves running around at the beach! If you're a hiking person he would be a fantastic companion for that because he stays right with you. AXL would do best in a home that understands large breeds. He loves dogs so another dog would be just fine for him! Children in the home should be older because he's such a big boy (he's good with all kids!) and we've found from his foster that he's a cat chaser so no cats or small animals like chinchillas. AXL's been staying at a doggy daycare where they are working with him and training him daily.
