Also plays well with other dogs in foster home. He is respectful to the senior dog in the household. He is attending obedience classes for basic training. He’s affectionate and charming, gives gentle kisses, makes eye contact that feels like a smile, and responds eagerly to cues like “sit” and “down” with treats and praise. On a recent field trip, Nibs walked three miles in the rain with ease. He calmly passed people, dogs, and even small animals, staying focused and checking in often. He enjoys exploring on leash, sniffing independently, and happily returning for rewards. In the car, he’s relaxed but may get a bit impatient waiting alone.
