I can be shy with new people, especially men, so I would love to meet the whole family at the shelter before going home to make sure we are a good fit! Due to my shyness as well I will need to go to a home without children under 12. While I can be shy I enjoy getting out on walks and have shown some food motivation. With time though, I do warm up and show my colors, but will need lots of patience. I can`t wait to met you!

Debbie has had a rough life and is ready to go out and conquer the world. She will be your most loyal friend, constant companion, and forever snuggle bug. Debbie LOVES her people. She is dog selective. No cats. She would be fine with kids IF she is the only dog. Debbie will expect her forever home to have a place for her on the couch and in a bed. She is trustworthy to free roam. She likes a nice yard, but needs a 5+ ft privacy fence. This girl can jump when squirrels are taunting her. Debbie LOVES car rides! She is not suitable for apartments or Townhouses with shared walls. ***Her adopter will need to commit to taking her for dentals yearly. She has had a dental and 12 teeth extracted through rescue. As she ages, more teeth will likely need to come out due to the poor development of her teeth.

The world became scary to him now that he isn't stuck in a small cage. New people worry him and he is content spending time with his person at home.
