Story
Elk is guessed to be a 6 yr old Doberman. He is pretty shy at first meet, but gets excited when a leash comes out! He loves going for walks and being with his person, once he knows them. He is good with dogs, and is going to need a confident canine buddy in his future home, to help him learn how to "dog" and be part of a family. He can be skittish, so a quiet and calm environment will be best for his future home and one without a lot of visitors. He arrived to us pretty thin, so we are working on "putting some groceries" on him. This sweet boy is waiting in Windsor with Big Bones Rescue. Come and meet him today! It

Story
Beamer Overview Beamer is a 5-year-old male dog who was adopted from the rescue as a young puppy. Through no fault of his own, Beamer's living situation recently became an issue, as his family had to move to a small apartment with no room for him to play. Beamer is a big boy who is very sweet and loving when he is comfortable, but will need time to adjust to his new family and environment. Personality Beamer is described as a very sweet boy who loves his people. However, due to his size and activity level, he will do best in a home without small children and with a large, fenced yard where he can play. Beamer is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on his vaccinations. Needs As Beamer adjusts to his new home, he will require patience and time to feel safe and secure. With the right family who can provide him with plenty of love, attention, and an appropriate outlet for his energy, Beamer is sure to blossom into a wonderful companion. An experienced dog owner who can give Beamer the structure and stability he needs would be the ideal match. ##1629027##

Story
Etta is very loving and just wants to be with her person. She's a bit nervous at first, but if you just ignore her, she will come right over. Etta has "told me" that she lived with a hoarder and therefore had to learn the fine art of Parkour!! She is fearless and I think would excel, if given a chance to try this sport. She is friendly with cats, but would like to be the only dog, so she can get all the attention. Because of her past living conditions, we are just starting to work on living in the house, but Etta is smart and willing the learn. This girl is scheduled for a dental and spay June 23 and is looking forward to meeting her "forever" family!

Story
Meet Rosie! Rosie is a beautiful, sweet-natured Miniature Pinscher mix who’s ready to find a loving family of her own. Estimated to be around 4 years old and 40 lbs, and as a young mother she is now ready to focus on herself. This smart girl is housebroken, crate trained, and walks well on a leash. Rosie enjoys splashing in the water, playing fetch (toys are her favorite!), and curling up afterward for some cozy relaxation. Rosie gets overstimulated easily so her ideal home is with a calm dog companion and someone who will give her the discipline and patience she needs! She would also be perfectly happy as an only dog and someone to play endless fetch with her! She has given so much—now it’s her turn to be cared for and cherished. Rosie is currently in Windsor, and she can’t wait to meet you!
