You may contact the Pet Association for details but adoption will go through Elena* Archie (Archibald Calif) is a friendly, resilient dog born August 12, 2024. He was rescued from the California fires after losing his home and family and was brought to Salt Lake City with help from Rocky Mountain K9. His foster mom trained him well, including weekly school sessions. Archie is smart, affectionate, playful, and eager to please. He's great with other dogs as well as kids! He knows how to sit and give paw, walks/runs well on a leash, can jump small obstacles, loves fetch, hiking, and exploring, and especially enjoys cuddling. He is kennel trained, neutered, food motivated, and low-maintenance for grooming. He is currently in Estes Park, Colorado, waiting for his forever home. Adoption     •    Fee: $150     •    Includes 30 daycare visits, 2 grooming appointments, his favorite ball, slow-feeding bowl, and a bag of food.     •    If the adoption doesn't work out, Archie must be returned to Elena's Barking Lot rather than taken to a shelter; 50% of the adoption fee will be refunded. HOMEOWNERSHIP REQUIRED!!! Hi! My name is Twiggy, but my foster mom also calls me Love, Lovie, Baby, Sweetie, Couch Potato and sometimes “Big Old Lug” when I’m taking up her side of the bed at night (how rude!). My likes? I love zoomies in the backyard, snoozing in chairs and car rides. Oh, I also love dogs and people, and snuggling … lots and lots of snuggling. My dislikes? I really don’t like loud trucks, not really fond of lots of traffic, and I don’t like anyone stealing my toys. I’m a 6-year-old Doberman Pincher mix. I’m a fun-loving, big, curvy girl (how dare you ask my weight, but I’m about 70 lbs.!). I’m looking for a long-term relationship. I’ve done the short-term foster thing and, no knock on it, but I really am just looking for a genuine connection with someone who thinks it’s OK for me to snore in their ear at night. I’ve been through board-and-train, so I’m an educated gal. Must haves for my new relationship: a yard with a fence so I can run around and chase squirrels and bunnies; patience with me on a leash (I listen, but have a short attention span); no young kids. It’s not that I don’t like them or can’t be around them. I can! But they’re small and sometimes get in my way. Plus, I don’t really understand personal space, so I don’t want to hurt them.
