Meet Cody! Cody is a 1.5 year old male mini pinscher mix. Cody weighs 30lbs and has been neutered. He is all legs. He does not love being crated, but he is housetrained. He loves to make friends with other dogs but is not a fan of cats. Cody is a handsome boy who can't wait to find a family to take him on adventures and play! ADOPTION PROCESS 1. Review our adoption contract and application. 2. Call your vet and references to inform them that a rescue representative will be calling. 3. Complete adoption application and submit following appropriate link below: Dog/Puppy: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/HRMD/Dog Cat/kitten: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/HRMD/Cat 4. You will be notified of outcome of your application within 1-3 days. 5. If approved, you will be introduced to the foster to schedule a meeting within 5 days. Guidelines for the meeting are: - Bring a leash and collar and be prepared to take the animal home directly from the meeting. - Meeting should be no longer than 1 hour. Our fosters are volunteers and we value and respect their time and personal commitments. - All members of the household (including other dogs) must be present. - Please be prepared to submit adoption fee via electronic payment at the meeting. - If all goes well, the dog will go home with you directly after the meeting. If you are not ready to adopt at the conclusion of the meeting, please understand that we may process other applications for the dog. Because we have a limited amount of foster homes, we cannot hold dogs past adoption. 6. Asher came to the shelter when she was 6 months old. The shelter scared her badly, so she went home and is being fostered with a shelter staff member. She is crate and potty trained. She is currently in a home with multiple dogs and cats. She is playful and medium to high energy. A complete lovebug! Asher wants nothing more than to be with her people and get her lovin’s! Asher is heartworm negative, spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and ready for her new home! This furbaby is located at Animal Harbor in southern middle TN. You can apply at www.animalharbor.org. If approved, we will facilitate a virtual meet and greet and answer any questions you may have. We partner with the awesome transport service company Rescue Riders to safely and professionally move our animals to their loving new homes!

Hi, my name is Fury! But I'm more like a happy, gentle breeze that wants to have fun! You might recognize my name from the famous character Director Nick Fury of the Marvel movies, I'm kinda like him: I love being the center of attention and don't like it when people take my stuff! I am a big dog! With my mixed Doberman Pinscher/Black Labrador genes I am a whopping 52#/lbs and have a ton of energy and muscle that needs to be worked! Because of this it would be best if I was paired with an active family who knows how to keep a dog mentally stimulated and respects my boundaries well. No apartment living for me please! No cats or small children either! My caretakers have learned some important things about me: I am a chow-hound and will try to eat anything I can get my hands on! So please leave food out of reach from me or I'll swoop it all up. Secondly, I would prefer if people didn't grab things that I have in my mouth, it's mine not yours hehe! Overall, I am a big-hearted dog who wants to go play, be adventurous, have fun with other people and dogs! I am however not such a big fan of car rides, they make my tummy feel sick eww! I love all people and dogs, am a healthy, happy boy and just want to find my home. Let's work together and find it!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)
