Story
Buster is a lively and affectionate little guy with a lot of personality! Buster was rescued from a recycling area where he had been dumped with his sister. This handsome pup is always ready for fun and loves to romp around with his toys or his siblings. Buster is adventurous, loves being active, and would be the perfect match for a family that enjoys outdoor activities or has a yard where he can run and play. He’s also a cuddle bug who loves belly rubs and curling up next to his favorite people. Buster is eager to learn and picks up commands well. He would do best in a home that can provide the training and attention he needs to reach his full potential. He would also thrive with another active dog in the household, giving him a playmate to keep him engaged and entertained. At a little over a year old, and sweet as can be, he is house and crate trained and UTD with all vaccines and monthly preventatives. He most likely will reach a maximum weight of about 40 lbs.  He can't wait to meet his forever family! ##2185900##

Story
His name is Jax, he is twelve yrs old. He has a grade 4/5 heart murmur, with severe mitral valve disease. He has a loose mass on his side which has not gotten bigger over the last few months. He is on a daily medication regimen that helps manage his symptoms. He is no distress. An echo was done. Sadly his heart cannot be fixed and he cannot be given anesthesia for any procedures. Jax is such a good dog. Don't let his age fool you. Don't let his heart condition stop you. This boy lives each day eith the energy and enthusiasm of a youngster. If there's a squirrel or bird in the yard he will run like the wind to chase it. Going for a car ride or walk? He's jumping around ready to go. Need a guard while you shower, sleep or relax on the couch? Well he's your guy. He has a prance in his walk. Head held high so he misses nothing. And he's really smart. He learned to use the dog door in a day. Only needed to be shown once where his bed is. Sensitive to correction, he tries not to make the same mistakes. He's a little guy only 20 lbs. His little head is always in the window when I pull into the driveway. The first one to greet me at the door, so happy to see me. Not interested in toys or bones. Not a fan of thunder, he finds a safe place til its over. Doesn't like other dogs in his personal space and will move away if he can. He likes a bit of chicken and can food with his kibble. If you can open your heart and home to this lil man, I know you will not be disappointed. There is something about him and he will reach in and touch you deeply in those special places of your head and heart. Currently fostered in Bradenton.
