Story
PLEASE READ THE ANIMAL’S PROFILE AND ALL NOTES BELOW BEFORE APPLYING! Hi!! I’m Cali 🤎🤎🤎 I’m a 2-year-old Doberman/Pit mix (though my foster secretly thinks I might even be a little younger!) and I’m the perfect mix of playful energy and total cuddle bug. If you’re looking for a dog who can play hard *and* love harder — I’m your girl. I absolutely love other dogs and currently live with two of them. I’m great at matching their energy, whether that means zoomies in the yard or relaxed hangouts. I’d really love a dog sibling in my forever home (big or small!), because having a buddy to romp around with makes life even more fun. I’m also wonderful with kids of all ages. I’m nurturing, sweet, and very gentle. I just genuinely love being around people. In fact… I’ll probably be your little shadow, following you from room to room just to make sure I don’t miss anything important (like snack time or cuddle time). The good news? I come with great manners! I’m potty trained, crate trained, and walk nicely on a leash. I know “sit,” “down,” and “stay,” and I’m super smart and eager to learn more. The “still working on it” stuff? Sometimes when I have extra energy, I might chew on things I shouldn’t — but that just means I need toys, exercise, and guidance. I’m also practicing my door manners because I get excited when people come and go and sometimes think I should join them on their adventures! With continued training and consistency, I’ll keep getting better every day. My ideal home would have: • A fenced backyard for safe playtime • A dog sibling • Kids to grow up with and love on That said, I could fit beautifully into almost any loving home that’s active, engaged, and ready to include me in daily life. Apartment, small yard, big yard — I just want to be where my people are. I’m loyal, affectionate, playful, and incredibly loving. I can go from wild playtime to the gentlest snuggle session in seconds. No matter where I came from, I choose to be joyful and loving every single day. **A word from my foster:** She is absolutely adored by everyone who meets her. She is loving, affectionate, and playful — an absolute joy who blends beautifully into any situation. If you’re ready for a best friend who wants to be part of everything you do, I’m waiting. 🐾🤎 Adoption FEE: $300 which includes her spay, microchip, and vaccines. It is also a donation to go directly back to us to help us continue to rescue more animals. A Mercy Full Project (MFP) Adoption Application MUST BE COMPLETED in order for you to be considered as a potential adopter. By filling out the MFP Adoption Application you agree and understand that ADOPTION IS NOT GUARANTEED. We are not first come, first served and submitting an application does NOT guarantee adoption. You will be contacted by an Adoption Coordinator once your application has gone through the approval process. Please ONLY APPLY IF you are ready to commit to adoption. TO ADOPT, APPLY ONLINE: www.mercyfullprojects.org PLEASE NOTE: We do our best to supply all known information about each animal in their profile. If you have additional questions, you may send an inquiry email to adopt@mercyfullprojects.org to be answered at our earliest convenience. Story
Buster is about 1.5 years old, around 40 pounds, and so incredibly ready to find the family he has been waiting for.   Found dumped in a recycling area with his sister as a tiny puppy, Buster’s story could have gone very differently. Instead, he has grown into a gentle, loving, and quietly joyful boy who greets the world with a soft heart and hopeful eyes. Every day he shows us just how resilient and special he truly is.   He is fully vetted, up to date on vaccines and preventatives, and already house trained, which means he is more than ready to transition smoothly into his forever home. Buster is both dog and cat approved and truly comes alive when he has animal friends around him. He would thrive in a home with a fenced yard and at least one other playful dog to help continue building his confidence and bring out his silly, happy side. If your pup has been wishing for a best friend, Buster might be the perfect match.   Buster can take a little extra time to warm up to men, but with patience, kindness, and a gentle approach, he builds incredibly strong and loyal bonds. Once he trusts you, he is all in. He is still growing into his confidence, but in the right home filled with love, encouragement, and consistency, this boy absolutely blossoms.   He loves toys, enjoys running and exploring the yard, and has a playful spark that shines brighter every day. After he gets his energy out, he is more than happy to settle in close, soak up affection, and enjoy some quiet cuddle time with his people. He is smart, eager to learn, and has all the makings of an incredibly devoted lifelong companion.   Buster has been patiently waiting for someone to see the beautiful soul he is. The family who gives him his chance is going to gain a deeply loving, loyal, and very special best friend.   If you are ready to welcome Buster into your heart and home furever, please apply at www.compassionkind.org/adopt   ##2185900##
