Story
Dolo is a big baby that loves being around you 24/7. He was adopted a month ago from a shelter for being a stray, I then put him into boarding training for 3 weeks. His behavior improved INCREDIBLY. He knows how to sit, lay, stay, go to his crate and stay for hours if need be (will whine a bit at first), and walks great on a leash. He is a big sweet goofball who needs a family that can give him lots of attention and be around him a lot. I work so much and it’s unfair to him and I can’t always find someone to come pet sit him. He is good with other dogs but i’m not sure how he is with kids or cats. he loves to play and that can get a bit much for him being so big and I’m so small but he is trained with an E-collar to behave. If you have any questions please let me know! His shots are up to date as well and I can provide you with his E-collar.

Story
Male Doberman seeking an experienced, structured home. He is an intelligent, high-drive dog who does best with routine, clear expectations, and confident handling. He mainly lives outdoors and enjoys sunbathing. He enjoys being near people, spending time outdoors, and benefits from regular physical and mental engagement. He has a strong bond with the leader of the home. Best suited for an adult home experienced with Dobermans or other working breeds. He requires consistent management and ongoing training. He may show protective behavior toward unfamiliar men and will bark at small animals. He does well with other dogs once properly introduced. Full disclosure: he has a prior bite incident involving an adult male (bite and release). He has not bitten women or children; however, due to size and history, he should not be left unsupervised with small children. Ideal adopter must be capable of safely handling a powerful breed and committed to structured leadership and continued training.

Story
Toothless was adopted at the Orange County Animal Services in October of 2023. We believe for him to be roughly five years old. Toothless is a big lover boy with lots and lots of energy, however due to our small space and busy schedule, are not the best fit for him and the lifestyle that he needs. We think that he would be a great family pet, as he has lots of energy and loves to play. He likes to hike and go on trails, loves lakes but hates pools, will eat just about anything (and I mean anything), and thrives on routine. He needs a larger home or yard to run as well as someone who has a schedule to support the energy level of a big dog. We just want to find the right fit for our sweet boy. It’s really heartbreaking that, that is not us.

Story
We adopted Walter from a shelter in 2021. They told us he was a year old, so he'll be 6 this year, although we have no idea when his birthday would be. He is a reactive dog. He growls/barks/etc. because he is scared of people. He was like this when we adopted him, which wasn't an issue because it was just us. We slowly earned his trust. We have had two children since then, and we are worried he might bite one of them because they do not understand not to bother him. His ideal owner would be a single person or a couple that is willing to get to know him and earn his trust, or someone who has experience with reactive dogs. We were told we should put him down. They called it behavioral euthanasia. He doesn't deserve that. He's never bitten anyone, but that's largely due to us being careful and lessening his triggers. He's not aggressive, he just takes time to warm up and he needs socialization. He needs an understanding owner that does not have young children.
