I am 34 lbs., and I am looking for my forever home. Adoption Donation: $450 All dogs are microchipped, neutered, current on all vaccines, heartworm tested (if age appropriate), and up-to-date on preventatives at the time of adoption. All household members and any dogs from the household need to be present to be able to adopt. A photo ID will be required at the time of adoption. Appointments are recommended. All applications are considered general. Specific animals are NOT put on hold for adoption. When you visit, our adoption counselors will be able to make suggestions based on the type of pet you are looking for and help you find the best fit for your family. Animal House Shelter cannot guarantee the breeds of the adoptable animals. The animals are posted on the website as the breed or breed mix based on their physical characteristics they most resemble. We also cannot guarantee the ages of our adoptable animals or how large puppies will be when fully grown. We look forward to seeing you soon! You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Asher is a 65-pound Doberman mix with lots of love to offer. When you first meet Asher, she is shy and nervous. Once she warms up to you, she is all kisses and cuddles. Asher gets along with other dogs and doesn't seem to mind cats. Asher loves to go hiking and enjoys running through the woods. She also enjoys wandering into ponds. Asher also enjoys spending time with her humans lounging on the couch. Ashers' ideal home would be with active adults with a fenced-in yard. Due to Ashers nervous behavior, she would do best in a home with no small children. Teenage or older would be best. Upon adoption, Asher would require patience for her to transition into a new home. She would also need a crate for a safe space. This adorable little girl and her siblings came in to rescue last winter after they were dumped on a back country road. Their mother was found deceased, so we took the puppies in to try to save them. They were very sick initially but are very healthy now. Blair is a gentle little girl, but does love to run and play with other dogs. She has done amazing with her house and crate training. She is so deserving of a wonderful home to call her own. She is fostered in East TN, but transportation is included in the adoption fee and provided by Rescue Riders LLC.
