Story
Athletic, smart, adventurous, goofy, can be playful but has a serious side. If this is what you are looking for as your next family member then Brody is the man for the job! His breed is listed as Doberman/lab but he hails from a rescue in TN so no promises! Brody is now 6 years old and about 50 lbs, has been with his present owners since he was a pup, has had tons of training, has loved all of it, but his owners understand that Brody is not happy with the baby in the home. They have made the painful choice to find him a new home where he can thrive. That's where we come in! What makes Brody the happiest? Lots of likes-chasing a ball, going on walks, hanging out in the yard and chasing the birds and squirrels. He loves the freedom of a large yard that is fenced -he has the joy of chasing the squirrels out and the squirrels make the silly choice to come back in! Hanging out on the back of the couch is also a fun thing so he can watch the world go by. The athletic side shows itself when he chooses to walk the deck railing to get a better view of that world!! He does have some dislikes and this is where the serious side comes in. He would much rather be the one to give permission for being loved on and is very happy when his people respect his wishes. He is happy to spend his nights in his crate so that he can stretch out and have some alone time! He'll share a part of your bed too. His wishes for a new home: if possible, lots of exercise; a big yard -fence a plus; comfy bed with a view; an adult home: prefers to be the only pet in the home. Story
Rooster is located in TEXAS. There are not enough homes for all the unwanted dogs down there, so he is willing to relocate for a good, loving, forever home. This handsome boy was found as a stray running out in the country. He is approximately 7 months old and weighs 45 pounds. He will probably weigh in the 60-pound range when fully grown. We are not sure of his breed mixture but think he may have some lab and Doberman in him. Rooster has a great personality and disposition. He loves all of the other rescue dogs, big and small. He loves people and will lie at your feet whenever he can. He loves water and the garden fountain is his favorite spot to hang out and keep cool. Rooster is a very sweet and goofy puppy. He is pretty much house-trained and runs to go outside with his buddies. He will need some leash training and would probably do better with a harness. We have no idea of how he is with cats. Rooster loves to run and play with his dog friends and toys. He may not be suitable for a home with small children because he may knock them over when running and playing. Rooster needs a fully fenced-in and secure yard. He will be a great dog for hiking or going to the dog park. He is an active boy and will run around the yard with a toy in his mouth playing tag with his buddies. He likes to be the leader and have everyone chase him. Rooster would do well either as an only dog or with other dogs. Rooster is a healthy and happy boy. He is neutered, fully vaccinated, (DAPP, Bordatella, rabies, canine influenza), and microchipped. He is receiving monthly heartworm and flea/tick preventatives. Roosters' adoption fee includes the cost of ground transport to Danbury, Glastonbury, or Dayville CT. Rooster is fostered by our friends at Shaggy Dog Rescue and cannot be transported until after he is adopted. Please send an email to 2manydogstx@gmail.com if you are interested in adopting this sweet puppy. If you are on Facebook, PLEASE visit and LIKE our page: www.facebook.com/2ManyDogsRescue

Story
Maybe I was named after MARVEL's Nick Fury. Or maybe I was named after the Brad Pitt war movie But one this is for sure - I am NOT fur-y-ous!!! I am a really SWEET boy who loves children and adults, in fact I was the KID'S best friend when I was in my foster home. I was part of their birthday celebrations and was just in HEAVEN with all the kids :) I am looking for a home with older kids because I am a little protective of my toys and snacks- so older kids who understand my boundaries are the best ;) I mean, my chickem nuggets are mine...even though they came from your hand! :) Maybe I am like Nick Fury because I can be a touch overwhelming to older and more timid dogs. I like dogs who are on the same level with me - you get it? ;) While I am not really big, less than 50 lbs, I am essentially 100 pounds of busy and need to be active. No apartment living for me, please! I like space and action and activity and being mentally stimulated - maybe I am a lot like Nick Fury ... hmmm, but nothing that a bunch of adventures wouldn't cure!!! Give me an active family or couple, and I am IN! And by active I mean, running and biking and camping and THROWING the ball for me- over and over please! I LOVE THE BALL! I am healthy and happy boy, and I am racing around waiting for you to race WITH me!!! Come on and adopt me and lets git to gitting!!! Adoption application: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/GDR/Dog Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)

Story
PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.11/28/23 Milly is a 3 year old Doberman mix who had to be surrendered when her family became homeless. She is an incredibly kind, loving dog, who just wants a family. This dog cried like I have never seen when her family had to leave her. It was the saddest day of her life and she still doesn't understand. We promised her it will all be ok and there's another family out there who will love her just as much. Milly was extremely attached to the young children in her family, one being an infant. She was glued to them, and we would really love for her to be adopted by another family with kids, but that is not necessarily a requirement. Milly is housetrained. She did have some pretty bad separation anxiety the first couple of days in her foster home but that is better now. It is something an adopter needs to be aware of until she gets adjusted to her new home. We do recommend crating her when the family is gone, to avoid any mishaps with her chewing things she shouldn't. Milly is excellent with other dogs as well as cats. In fact, she wants to cuddle them all. She will take any cuddles she can get, whether it's other pets, or humans. She is just a very affectionate lady. Please help us find Milly another family to love. Let's please not be unkind to this family. They truly tried to keep her. But it came down to surrendering her or they would all be on the streets. With young kids and a baby, that is a tough call, and they did the right thing by surrendering her to a rescue. Milly is up to date on vaccinations, spayed, heartworm neg, and on prevention. She weighs about 60lbs. Located in Arkansas, but transport is available. Adopter must be able to pick up or arrange for someone to pick up for them at one of the following times/locations. Harrisburg, PA 2am FridaysPort Jervis, NJ 5am Fridays Southington, CT 8am Fridays East Hartford, CT 11am Fridays To apply, please fill out the adoption app: https://form.jotform.com/212690945239059 email apps.aasr@gmail.com with any questions.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Our typical adoption fee for puppies younger than 6 months old is $400, and for older puppies and adults, the usual fee is $350. This includes microchip, spay/neuter,  up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormings, flea/tick treatment, and heartworm test (if over 6 months old) as well as heartworm treatment if they test positive. There is a transport fee of $125-$140 per dog, depending on the transporter. We use Pack Leaders Rescue Dog Transport most often, but also use Hearts Transport as well on occasion. Story
If you want to consider adopting one of the most unusually colored Dobermans ever, then please consider our handsome blonde boy called Moose who  is a 3 ½ year old Dobi and who weighs 75 pounds. He loves to be with his person and sits patiently waiting for you to love him. He lives with a Shepskie, Sheltie and two toy Yorkies. He's great with the  3 YO grandson  and this boy is totally trained in a crate, housebroken, knows commands and walks like a Westminster show dog on a leash most of the time.   There are times he still pulls a little on the leash and could use more work.  He's a fast eater and needs work taking snacks from your hand.  Overall, Moose is such a loving guy with a great personality. His only downfall is he CAN NOT BE AROUND CATS. He will kill a cat and has killed a chicken.   The prey drive for those creatures is high.  Moose mostly  needs someone that can spend good quality time with him and give him the love he deserves. Is you are interested in this blonde Doberman guy who is ready to be a sponge in training and learning then please email us at ccrnewengland@gmail.com   Let’s do this!!! PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.December 3, 2023, 9:33 pm
