Story
Samson is a big dog with a big heart! He’s sweet and gentle and just loves to give hugs and kisses!! Through no fault of his own, Samson’s family can no longer care for him. He’d make a perfect first dog for a family with children but as long as the home is loving and forever, he’ll be a happy boy!Handsome Samson is a 3 year old Doberman Pinscher/Corgi mix who is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, heart worm negative, and neutered. He is currently at our Freeport location. If you would like to meet this adorable boy, please fill out the adoption application on our website using a laptop or desktop (no phone or tablet, please) at https://bobbiandthestrays.org/adoption-page-new/. Kindly keep in mind that our adoptions are local only (NYC area and Long Island).)

Story
This boy Ricky is something special! Let me tell you his story - One of our partners found this big lovable boy dumped with buckshot in him. She is a nurse and happen to be on her way to visit a hospice patient, our boy Ricky gravitated to this woman and wanted to stay - so she let him! Fast forward to the inevitable - and now Ricky is looking for his new home. He is extremely gentle and LOVES everyone and everything. He did not get out unscathed from his prior life - this boy is blind in one eye, but that doesn't slow him down at all, he has plenty to give to his new family! He's not considered special needs and should be able to live out his without any complications! This handsome fellow is a Doberman/maybe Rottweiler or lab mix, and weighs about 50 pounds. He is about 1 year old - All the greats - Housebroken, non destructive, trustworthy in the house, great on a leash and very well mannered! LOVES kids, LOVES other dogs! Great in the car! An all around perfect dog! Interested? https://asecondchanceforziva.org/adopt/adoption-fee

Story
My name is Toby! I am about 8ish months and around 55 lbs. I am a beautiful, tall, lanky boy who might get to 70 to 80 lbs full grown. (That's our guess!). What am I? We see Doberman and maybe a bit of Beauceron or hound? Of course, I am kind of goofy like a lab too. Anywho - this is me... I am a big puppy. I am funny, happy, and kind of clumsy! I love to run around and play with my sister and my other dog friend (female) that I live with. I would be happy to live with another dog friend. I love the water too and have actually become more outgoing than my sister! A fenced in yard would be great so I can run around off leash a bit. I will need a bit of housebreaking work when I get there. I would be fine with kids but 8+ because ... again, I am big and clumsy. I am stunning and dignified now but wait until I am all grown up!! I am not that great with cats... but, my sister doesn't seem to mind them! Here is a link to the application: https://asecondchanceforziva.org/adopt/adoption-process-application/

Story
My name is KK! I am a female. I am about 8 months and around 55 lbs. I am a beautiful, tall, lanky girl who might get to 70 lbs or so full grown. (That's our guess!). What am I? We see Doberman and maybe a bit of Beauceron. I do have double dews which is pretty cool - if you don't know what that means, ask ASCZ! Of course, I am kind of goofy like a lab too. Anywho - this is me... I am a big puppy. I am funny, happy, and kind of clumsy! I love to run around and play with my brother and my other dog friend (female) that I live with. I would be happy to live with another dog friend. I am also very sweet and can be a little cautious at first in new situations. A fenced in yard would be great so I can run around off leash a bit. I will need a bit of housebreaking work when I get there and some leash training. I am not super confident on the end of a leash yet. I would be fine with kids but 8+ because ... again I can be a little clumsy. I am stunning and dignified as a youngster and will be even mores all grown up!
