Come meet me and 75+ of my adoptable friends at Louie's Legacy Animal Rescue's Super Adoption Event, Furever Yours! Sunday, February 15th, 2026 at Paradise Island in Staten Island from 11am - 3pm! Meet Hazel! Hazel is a 1 year old, approximately 30 lb mixed breed dog with gorgeous Doberman coloring who loves hugs and cuddles and being close to her people. Her superpowers include being a fast learner (learned the sit command on her first day in foster care), loving all people everywhere, being super silent (still haven’t heard a bark!) and being a cuddly couch potato. She is becoming ever more brave about walking in the city and loves to stop and smell everything! Hazel is completely house trained, has never chewed anything other than a dog toy or treat, and is fine in the crate if her humans are out for a few hours. She loves to please and she loves to be rewarded for a good job! Some of her favorite things are treats, her Lambchop toy (promptly de-stuffed but still loved), and sitting on the couch (or floor, or anywhere) with her human. She’s happy to just hang out at home but is also down to be your co-pilot on errands or go for a romp in the park. If you're looking for the sweetest, most gentle pup who will greet you with a full body wiggle and a loving lean every time you walk in the door and loves snuggling any time of day she might be your perfect match. Hazel is currently being fostered in Queens, NY. Her adoption fee is $475.
