Story
*** FOSTER OR ADOPTER NEEDED *** Hannah is a 3 year old female Doberman that has been through a lot in her short life. She was returned to the shelter 3 times after being previously abused. The last time she was returned to the shelter she was just left tied up to a pole outside the building overnight until the staff found her in the morning. Hannah is a little skittish and over protective of her space and her person but she is also very sweet and obedient around her people. She does tend to bond with one person better than multiple people. She requires a calm, quiet household without children. She is good with small dogs and listens when she is told no. Hannah is crate trained and house broken although she does have minor accidents here and there. She is calm with random spurts of energy but nothing a short walk or playtime won’t help! Hannah deserves a break. She is looking for a quiet household that will provide love and patience and give this young girl the opportunity to blossom. A $300 adoption fee applies. Please go to www.dobermanrescuenm.org and complete an application.

Story
Penny is an all natural, 5 year old Doberman mix. She loves to cuddle, chase birds, go on walks, and play in lakes and rivers. She has a few dog friends, but needs some time to get to know them. She's nervous around cars, and likes to listen to gangster rap to calm down. She has not been around cats but she has a prey drive with small animals. Penny sees lots of kids at NMAF's foster clinic and loves them. No aggression toward people at all, except the mailman! A $195 adoption fee applies. Contact New Mexico Animal Friends to adopt Penny @ https://nmaf.org/contact-us/. NMAF Office Hours: Tuesday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. (505) 881-7297 (Voicemails left after Friday, 12:00 p.m., will not be answered until the following Tuesday.) Dog Inquires: dogs@nmaf.org

Story
I desperately need a one on one foster in an effort to continue socialization. I'm a sweet fellow and I'm shy as can be so... a foster that can spend 1:1 time with me will really help! My Story: Good day, my family is lucky to survive a house fire. Eight of us are safe as a result of the amazing fire department response. I'm doing really well with potty training. I do great with other dogs, but could probably adjust to being an only dog if need be. I'm ready to go forward with finding a forever family and home. Don't delay, apply and schedule a meet and greet soon.

*** FOSTER NEEDED***  Dobie is in dire need of a foster home - If you can step up to help this wonderful dog, please fill out a foster application and I will be in touch with you.   https://www.hartnm.com/volunteer  Thank you!!  Be prepared to fall in love! Dobie is a very sweet boy who is looking for his forever family.  He loves the great outdoors and would do well having space to run and play.  He is somewhat of an escape artist but usually doesn't stray far.  He does have separation anxiety and has learned kennel up.  He enjoys being rewarded with a walk.   He would do best with a family who is home most of the time, that can show him the love and security he needs through positive reinforcement training.  He walks nicely on a leash and enjoys his daily walks.  He’s not a barker, he gets along with other cats and dogs, is house trained and knows how to use a doggy door.  He loves everyone he meets, does not jump up and waits patiently to be petted.  He’s a real love bug!! 02/23/24 - Neuter, Rabies 1yr., DAPP 1yr., Flex 4 Test (Negative) ##1975326##

Story
Hello, my name is Tommy and my home burned down. I’m 2-3 years young and friendly, fully vetted and in need of a caring and nurturing foster and/or adopter. I weigh 72 pounds… could it be you? Friendly, attentive and by your side... I would love a forever family and home. I was raised with children 12 and older. A shelter and long term boarding is stressful.
