He’s social, expressive, and happiest when he’s close to his people — whether he’s asking for playtime, leaning in for cuddles, or following you from room to room. What Ace Loves • Rubs, cuddles, and being near his humans • Playtime and daily walks (1–2 a day) • Car rides — he loves them, even if hopping in takes a moment • Bathtime, scrubs, and brushing A Few Quirks-Ace is a champ with baths and brushing, but nail trims are not his thing. He prefers to keep his paws to himself, thank you very much. With patience and positive experiences, he may warm up to it over time, but for now, he’s all about the bubbles, not the clippers. This 72-pound goofball was surrendered and is currently operating under the belief that he is a **lap dog**, which would be adorable if he didn’t also have the grace and coordination of a baby giraffe. He has the mindset of a scared cat with the body of a mountain lion. He is cautious around new things —but once he decides you’re safe, he will enthusiastically slam his entire body into you in excitement. Kenzo does okay with other dogs but is still learning basic life skills like not launching himself into people. Someone forgot to tell him that he's a giant dog and even around dogs half his size he takes a minute to warm up and play. Because of his size and lack of manners, he’s looking for a home **without kids** and with someone who is ready to put in a lot of training. The good news? He’s young, funny, and full of personality—he just needs someone willing to turn this oversized, slightly panicked noodle into a well-mannered companion. ****LOCATED IN MISSISSIPPI - TRANSPORT UPON ADOPTION***** Kenzo's $500 adoption fee includes spay/neuter, up to date vaccines, microchip AND transport fee to a location near you. We currently have transportation to CT, MD, NJ, NY, PA, VA, GA, and TN.
