Now around 40 pounds, Kyra has blossomed into a sweet, snuggly, and curious companion—just like her mom, Sunny. She loves affection, enjoys exploring the world around her, and is always ready to cuddle up after a day of adventures. Kyra’s mom, Sunny, weighs around 45 pounds, though her dad is unknown, so her adult size is an estimate. Kyra is good with other dogs and cats too! We adopted Sandy from a shelter in the south in the fall of 2020. She had scabs on her legs, and was terrified of men. Also, she had just given birth. She learned to trust us and feel safe with us. She is never arrogant. All of our family members have dogs, and they all get along like family, from the 10- pounders to the 90-pounders! Sandy ‘s a really easy doggie. We would never think of giving her up, except for both my husband’s and my challenging health concerns, declining ability.
