Story
Charlie Brown,a one year old Dobermann/Pitt mix (our guess), was found at 6 months old tied to street sign. Been living with us the last 6 months. Nothing wrong with him! We already have two dogs and a third one is too much of responsibility for this stage of life. He needs a home where he can get more attention. He loves to be outside. We have him on a wireless fence and does great with no escapes. He will need some leash training but won take long for him to pick it up. He is very smart and stubborn. He needs exercise. He loves his chew bones and blanket. He is crate trained and prefers to sleep in the crate at night. He is house trained, and does great job letting you know. We have trained him to jingle bells at the door if he wants to go out! The only con I could list is he is very talkative! He lets you know what he is thinking. We joke his name should be Chewbacca! We did have him neutered at approximately 7 mos and all shots up to date.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online Adoption Application › Yo what up. The official name is Xanadu but around here they call my Xander. I was left on one of those foster home things front porch. It's pretty messed up man. I mean I am fully vetted, heartworm negative, and not one of those crazy baby dog things.  Xander does great at the dog park and loves to play with other dogs, which is good because he is an active boy. His foster parents walk him 3-5 miles every day. Because of his active lifestyle, we recommend a home with no small children. As mentioned before, Xander loves dogs, so he would love to have a doggy companion. When Xander isn't running around, he spends his time watching TV (He's a great Sunday football companion).  Xander is house trained, crate trained, knows basic commands, and loves the dog park. He is learning to use a leash but pulls a lot still. He does have some separation issues and will bark at people. Xander is an amazing dog, that still needs some training. He is looking for a someone knowledgable of the doberman breed but loving pawrent to love him. **Xander's perfect home would have another dog, older or no children, and someone with doberman breed experience.   To apply for adoption visit: https://www.pawfectmatch.org/info/adoption      Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 26, 2024, 5:10 pm

"Splish splash, I was taking a bath Long about a Saturday night Say hello to Splashand his brother Splish! Splish and Splash arrived at Saving Grace full of dapper Doberman charm and what will be stunning blue-black coats so sleek, they make other dogs look like they're wearing last season's fur! These adult gentlemen may have mastered the art of perfecting poses with a dignified head tilt, but don't be fooled - they've got a goofy side that comes out faster than you can say "walkies!" Splash has not likely had a great experience with care so far so his coat is a bit threadbare and he is underweight at about 60 lbs full grown meaning he is heading to be a large boy. Splash is working hard tho on those regular meals, getting exercise and growing that coat in no time flat! Splash has been a gentleman with lots of doggo friends and has been learning quickly the ways of farm living. Crates, meals, attention and lots of fun time, Splash has been having a blast but really wants a family of his own. He may eventually prefer to be the primary male dog in the home but really loves the ladies, both doggo and people kind. Doberman lovers are sure to fall head over heels for this one! Come see for yourself!

Story
I adopted Tanner from the Wake County animal shelter when he was 2 years old. He just turned 8 years old this year but you wouldn't know it. He still gets the zoomies and sprints around the yard at full speed until he tires and loves playing tug of war with a rope. When I take him to the dog park people ask me how old he is thinking he's a puppy and are startled when I tell them he's a senior. He gets along great with other dogs, loves kids and people, and never barks inside the house (he does bark outside though). Tanner is a very low maintenance pup. I've never had to put him in a crate, He doesn't chew up furniture or belongings and can hold his pee all day until I get back from work. He's handsome, he's always been healthy, his coat is soft and he does't smell bad like some other dogs. Unfortunately my girlfriend is severely allergic to dogs and we can't live together until Tanner finds a new home, otherwise I would spend many more years with this happy pup.
