Story
Meet Bandit Bandit is a 5-year-old Doberman who is every bit as loyal and intelligent as the breed is known for. He’s a sweet, loving boy who enjoys playing in the yard and spending time with the people he trusts.Bandit is good with cats and kids and already knows several commands, including come, sit, paw, and lay down. While he can be selective with other dogs, he has made a few dog friends here at the shelter, proving that with proper introductions, he can do well with the right canine companions. He may need a little extra time to warm up to men, but once he feels safe and comfortable, Bandit forms strong bonds and shows just how affectionate and devoted he can be.If you’re looking for a loyal companion and are willing to offer patience, understanding, and consistency, Bandit just might be your perfect match

Story
Meet Ruby, a beautiful red, cropped and docked, 5-year-old Doberman with the gentlest soul. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, housetrained, and incredibly sweet. Ruby does wonderfully with other dogs, cats, and kids, making her a lovely fit for many types of homes. She is low energy overall but still enjoys bursts of excitement and playful joy that will melt your heart. Ruby has a sensitive digestive system and needs a carefully managed diet along with daily medication to keep her comfortable. She will also happily snack on anything she can find in the yard, such as animal droppings, or other debris, which can upset her stomach. For this reason, she will need supervised outdoor time and an adopter willing to manage her diet and surroundings consistently. With gentle guidance and patience, Ruby does beautifully with her trained obedience commands, walks nicely on leash, and rides great in the car. Her foster mom will happily review all of her known commands and hand signals with a potential adopter. Food is definitely her happy place, but what Ruby truly wants is consistency, kindness, and love. She would do well in a calm home with a dog companion, where her routine and medical needs can be maintained. Ruby is considered a medical adoption, and Doberman Pinscher Rescue of PA, Inc. will continue to support her medically with her current treatment plan. We are looking for a compassionate adopter who understands her digestive needs and is committed to helping her stay healthy, comfortable, and thriving with proper care and routine. If you have a soft heart and room in your home for a very special girl, Ruby would be so grateful for the chance to spend her days feeling safe and loved. ☀️ Meet **Summer**! ☀️ Summer is a beautiful 2½-year-old black female Doberman with natural ears and a docked tail. She is spayed, microchipped, fully vaccinated, Heartworm negative, and more than ready to find her furever home! She recently made her way north from Georgia, and we are still learning more about this lovely girl. What we already know? She is affectionate, kind, and eager to bond with her people. Story
Meet Bricks, a stunning 5-year-old black and tan Doberman with cropped ears, a docked tail, and a heart as big as his name. Bricks came to DPRPA from Louisiana after being dropped off at a shelter with his buddy Diesel. Thanks to the wonderful folks at Gulf Coast Doberman Rescue, he made his way north to safety and care. No one knows why he was surrendered, but one thing is certain — this boy is a loving, loyal companion. Bricks is gentle and loving with his people, but does need slow introductions to strangers and may be end up being people selective. He gets along well with his current foster sister, and a meet and greet will be required for any potential adopters who have another dog in the home. He has been tested with cats and small animals and needs a home without either. Because of his size and enthusiasm, he would do best in a home with older children. He is neutered, microchipped, fully up to date on vaccines and preventatives, and ready to join his forever family. He is currently being fostered in PA. Story
Harley is currently at a rescue in Oklahoma. We are looking for a home in a state where people treat their animals well. He has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport near one of the cities listed at bottom. If things don't work out for some reason, which rarely ever happens, he will go back to Oklahoma on our next transport until a new home is found. -Harley is a male and is 5-6 months old (January 24th) -He and his 2 brothers look completely different, Harley looks like a Doberman (sleek bodied, long thin face), one looks like a Shepherd mix, and another looks like a Shepherd/Rottie mix. So, I think they are a mixed bag breed-wise. Can only go off of looks for now. -Weighs around 20 pounds on January 24 -Came into a local shelter due to an abuse/neglect case -Does well with other dogs -Probably best with older children at time of posting, he and siblings get excited and nip at end of your shirt/coat sleeves for attention/when excited -May be housebroken, does not go to the bathroom in his crate/kennel and immediately uses the bathroom when he is put outside -Very friendly, loves attention and pets -Loves to run and be outside -Video of Harley from January 18: https://youtube.com/shorts/7XvllxcKUbY Harley is neutered, vaccinated (DHLPP, Bordetella and Rabies), dewormed, microchipped, and is on monthly flea/tick/HW prevention. Health certificate and exam will be performed less than 10 days prior to transport. Adoption fee is $900, this is including all vetting above and transport cost. Please fill out this application FIRST if you'd like to adopt Harley: https://form.jotform.com/243134969050053 If you aren't contacted within 48 hours after filling out online form, please contact us again at 580-257-0622 or luckypawsdoghouse@gmail.com. Story
Shiloh????is breaking down in the kennels. The constant barking, noise, chaos is stressing her beyond her limits. The kennel environment isnt kind to a pup who needs to exert energy, one who stresses easily or was previously part of a quiet lifestyle . We unfortunately have no way of knowing this girls past but we know she is not happy here. It may not have mattered to the people who put her in this position but it matters to us. A 2-year-old Doberman mix • weighs 62 lbs • High-energy sweetheartMeet Shiloh, our gorgeous, goofy ball of energy! At just 2 years old, this Doberman mix is smart, athletic, and always ready for the next adventure. She’s looking for an active person or family who can give her plenty of exercise and mental enrichment—think walks, hikes, puzzle toys, basic training, and fun games to keep that bright brain busy.Shiloh has tested well with both dogs and kids here at the shelter. However, she does get excited and has a tendency to jump, and she doesn’t always realize her own strength. She’s about 62 pounds and not huge in size, but her enthusiasm can make her feel like a bit of a “bull in a china shop” at times. Because of this, she’ll do best with a home that’s comfortable working on manners and providing structure, especially around younger children. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will keep you laughing, keep you moving, and give you tons of love, Shiloh might be your perfect match. She’s ready to learn, ready to play, and most of all, ready to finally have a home of her own.Interested in meeting Shiloh?
