Story
Honey is a sweet two year old Doberman/husky mix. Sadly, her mommy has a terminal illness and has reached out to us to find Honey the perfect forever home. Honey is spayed, up-to-date on all required vaccines, HW negative and micro chipped. Honey is sweet and affectionate but a little awkward. She just needs a little bit of training to become that perfect dog. Training her mom just hasn’t been up to lately. Honey has one beautiful blue eye and the most adorable ears I’ve ever seen. She weighs about 55 pounds. She would do well with older children that wouldn't be knocked over as well as a good natured doggy sibling. If you would like to give this cutie pie a place in your family while putting her current mom at ease, please email dogs4mylife@gmail.com or omlc7@hotmail.com and we will send our information and application. Story
Ollie has been waiting patiently since March for his forever home, and we’re truly hoping his perfect match is out there reading this right now. This handsome young Doberman is loyal, affectionate, and eager to bond deeply with his person. He thrives in a consistent, structured environment and would love a home where he can be your one and only. Ollie is best suited to an adult-only household with no other pets. He loves meeting new people and soaks up attention from visitors. He attends weekly training and continues to make great progress, he’s a smart, eager student who responds well to guidance and structure. A securely fenced yard is necessary to give him a safe space to run, play fetch, and burn off energy, he’s an active boy with a strong drive to explore. Ollie is more than ready to start his new life, and the longer he waits, the more we worry that the right home might pass him by. He’s a wonderful companion just waiting for the right person to see him. If you’re looking for a devoted sidekick and are ready to give Ollie the guidance and love he deserves, please reach out today. Let’s make this boy’s wait finally worth it. Story
Pepperoni is a 6-year-old fawn female with natural ears and a docked tail. Since arriving she has continued to wow her foster mom with how quickly she learns new skills. She knows multiple commands and has even begun bringing her foster mom’s shoe in the morning when she is ready to go outside to potty! She does however need work on her leash manners. This sweet girl is very active and LOVES to run and play in the yard(a fenced yard is required for her). She is dog friendly and would do well with another dog or two in the home. Pepperoni can be a bit pushy for love and attention and will need someone to help enforce boundaries for her. As a fawn Doberman she does have a poor skin and coat, but is on supplements to help. She is spayed and up to date on all vaccines and preventatives. Pepperoni is being currently fostered in New Kensington, PA. If you are interested in being considered for her furever home, please fill out an application at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/DPR/Dog PA Kennel License # 14649

Story
Frolic is a petite, energetic Doberman with a heart full of enthusiasm and a zest for life. At around three years old, she’s past the puppy chaos but still very much a playful, spirited companion. She’s been sweet and affectionate with everyone she’s met, quickly winning over staff, volunteers, and fosters with her charm. Frolic is dog friendly but can easily become overstimulated, especially during introductions. She doesn’t always know how to read social cues or initiate play appropriately, so she’ll need an adopter who’s confident and capable of managing those moments with patience and structure. With time to decompress and the right guidance, she could enjoy the company of another well-matched dog, but she’d also thrive as the center of attention. Cats are unknown. She would do best in an active home that can keep her mentally and physically engaged while continuing to work with her on manners and boundaries. Frolic is full of potential and eager for someone to help her shine—she just needs the right person to believe in her. Story
Phoenix! This lovely, squishy medium sized (maybe 55 lbs) girl is around 2-3 years old. She was originally adopted from us as a puppy but returned for not getting along with the other pets in the home. Phoenix should be an only pet in her new home, but is a lovely girl willing to give you all her love. She would benefit from a diet and losing a little weight. She is a great girl who is fully housebroken (but may have a few small accidents as she gets acclimated) and crate trained. She would be fine with older, school aged children.
