Hi, my name is Fury! But I'm more like a happy, gentle breeze that wants to have fun! You might recognize my name from the famous character Director Nick Fury of the Marvel movies, I'm kinda like him: I love being the center of attention and don't like it when people take my stuff! I am a big dog! With my mixed Doberman Pinscher/Black Labrador genes I am a whopping 52#/lbs and have a ton of energy and muscle that needs to be worked! Because of this it would be best if I was paired with an active family who knows how to keep a dog mentally stimulated and respects my boundaries well. No apartment living for me please! No cats or small children either! My caretakers have learned some important things about me: I am a chow-hound and will try to eat anything I can get my hands on! So please leave food out of reach from me or I'll swoop it all up. Secondly, I would prefer if people didn't grab things that I have in my mouth, it's mine not yours hehe! Overall, I am a big-hearted dog who wants to go play, be adventurous, have fun with other people and dogs! I am however not such a big fan of car rides, they make my tummy feel sick eww! I love all people and dogs, am a healthy, happy boy and just want to find my home. Let's work together and find it!! We love June so much, and she is obsessed with hanging out and being with the family, but unfortunately we have two cats who she does not get along with so we are hoping to find her a new home. June loves to chew on bully sticks, run around in the backyard, and bark at passing birds. Her favorite things to do are snuggling on the couch, guarding the home against delivery people, and basking in the sun. She has a lot of energy and she likes to spend a lot of time outside, but she gets very cuddly when she is worn out. We love her to pieces and we want her to have a fantastic home, we are heartbroken that she can't live with us.

Rizzo loves other dogs but can be picky about the people in his life. But if you are this little leprechauns person, boy does he love you. He is sure to be the pot of gold at the end of your rainbow!Rizzo is a young dog with young dog energy. Don’t let that deter you, he is also a great nap taker. Rizzo is looking for his forever home and can’t wait to be your little helper. Rizzo would do great in any home without small children but would thrive in an all female home. He is unsure of men but warms up quickly with a few treats. He is great on a leash and a perfect little car rider. He would make a fantastic hiking or running buddy for someone and he loves to play with balls. So much so that he entertains himself with one. He is great at taking commands and is a fast learner. He has mastered sit, crate and come. He is also doing great with stay. Rizzo just wants to be where you are and would make a great couch buddy for the cold winter!Rizzo is a former street dog turned cuddle bug. He enjoys nap time, playing with toys and getting all the love you have to give. He goes in his crate fantastically but when he hears you he wants out for more love! He does wonderful on a leash and isn’t hard to handle. He would make a great hiking buddy or running partner. He really wants to make new friends but is sometimes unsure, especially of larger men. No worries though, he warms up quickly if you have a treat to share with him! He hasn’t completely given up his street dog ways because he loves to explore the fenced in yard. Rizzo would love to be yours more so if you have a ball to throw, a treat or just all your love to give. Rico is ready to fully give up his street dog ways and finally find his forever home with you!Rizzo and his foster brother received their Christmas box from Chewy and they’re wondering what’s in it!! Rizzo has settled in at his new fosters house and so far he loves playing with his foster brother, running through the yard and barking at the horses next door. An active family or person would be great. He is the sweetest little guy at 45lbs and wants to be where his person is. He is always up for a play date or a nap, whatever his person is doing. He is a great car rider. He already knows sit and we are working on stay but he is picking it up quickly. Get ready to meet your new best friend!Rizzo aka Rico update: 2yrs, 35-40lb male He's settling in pretty well now after 3 weeks. He does have some allergies that require medicine as of now, but that could always change. He gets along with the 10yr old girl and with 3 of our 4 dogs...the 4th is our alpha female and his dominance starts to show, so slow and steady or he would make an excellent only dog! He plays a little rough so he's learning how to be easy. He loves to chew and is full of energy, so make sure he has plenty of toys/bones to keep him out of trouble! He's a love bug who must lay/sleep on you versus beside you! He's not a huge fan of the crate, but he tolerates it ok. He would love to have a family to call his own!!!Available dogs are met by appointment only and pre-approved adopters ONLY.Our dogs are currently in a foster homes which can answer your questions better than anyone else. We promise our fosters that we will qualify all potential adopters before we ask them to communicate with potential adopters.The application is the first step. Hi! I'm Jovie, I'm a 3 year old Greek hare hound. My birthday is April 22. I love cuddling and chewing bones. Belly rubs are my absolute favorite thing in the whole world! I get very attached to my person and would love to spend every second of the day by their side. I'm pretty hesitant around people I don't see every day and would rather have my own safe space when visitors are over. Children make me especially nervous and I would rather not have to interact with them. I have trouble making friends with other dogs, sometimes it works and other times I get overwhelmed and lash out, but I don't mean to. I love every one, I just need more time than others to adjust. I'm super playful and love running forever. I'll accompany you on all your walks as long as it's in a quiet area. I am very talkative and will serenade you in the mornings with the screams of my people. My favorite way to show you what I want is by dragging your arm or throwing my empty bowl. I can't wait to meet you! :D

Please contact Vivienne (viviennejames@comcast.net) for more information about this pet.Meet young Mr. Slick.  This is the prefect name for this young man as he is a slick little dude that easily worms his way into your heart.  He has that is as soft and shiny as a piece of silk.  This sweet little guy was found as a stray in south Nashville and taken in my Miss Heidi.  She owns a doggie day care and boarding business and Slick is having a blast.  It was a little overwhelming at first but he is now friends with everyone and fitting right in.  He is great with all the dogs but prefers Miss Heidi.  He is her little shadow and follows her everywhere.  All he wants to do is sit next to her or in her lap.  Snuggling is his favorite thing.  He slept through the night the first night without making a peep.  He is housebroken and OK on a leash.  He is a smart guy and will get that quickly.  Slick will make a great family pet.  He is young and has to learn some manners but is not a jumper.  Children 8 and over would be the best match for him.  Silky would also be a great dog for a young couple.  He is neutered, current on all his shots and microchipped.  He is ready for his forever family to find him.  If you are looking for the perfect lap warmer, then you have found him.  To be considered for Slick's forever family and to request and application please contact Vivienne at viviennejames@comcast.net.  APPROVED APPLICATION AND ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.April 29, 2024, 9:05 pm

Lacey is a pretty young, 2 year old, 50 pound Rhodesian Ridgeback mix girl that lived the first years of life on a chain outside in a man’s backyard.  She has had a few litters of pups and PREFERS to be the only queen of the house.  Being always chained, many dogs have a defensive attitude of being jumped on and often prefer to be the only pet in the home.  She is very sweet and loving and adores meeting new people and making friends.  She loves men especially and is gentle with children.  She is so very calm and easy going around the house.  She is not a fan of the crate because it is new to her.   She was never crated until now.  She doesn’t seem to be destructive at all in the house.  She loves sleeping on the bed at night and will sleep right next to you.  She has been in HEAVEN because she has never had the inside comforts of a home.  This smart girl can be taught so many things.  Please consider giving her a comfy and loving home and the life she deserves.  She is ready now!  She is housebroken and loves car rides and can travel to a new home anywhere.  If you want a well rounded and easy dog, you really need to pick Lacey!!!   Email Critter Cavalry Rescue and ask for an application to adopt.   Email:  ccrtennessee@gmail.com  She is ready to pack her bags and head fast as lightning to a new dog bed and people who will treat her like a Queen.
