But it fits me, I mean, REX is kind of like a T Rex, and I have the face/mouth SIMILAR to a T Rex, but a WHOLE LOT CUTER!! and LY, i mean, what does that stand for???? OK, they made up my name. And I identify with it :D AND that is all that really matters! So now you know a very little about me, what about you?? do you LOVE DOBERMANS??? I am all all that! I have a goofy inside and serious outside, only people who know and love the breed truly understand that! I am very serious about my food, my toys, my friends and my other friends and nothing else ;) I love to play, and chase toys and hang out on my bed and go for hikes and walks and be loved on... Do you have the right home for me?? Then hurry up and adopt me I cannot linger here forever waiting for you!!! So, withe the name "Tumble" you would think I am clumsy, right?? UH NOPE!! i am a GRACEFUL Doberman boy with long gangly legs and only one working eye :D I mean, if that is not a set up for tripping/falling/and "tumbling" then I don't know what is!!??? So here is my deal, I am a senior doberman with the vive of life still in my bones! I am smart, I am happy, I am still pretty active and I am looking for a soft place to land with fun family and fun life ahead! My original mom saved me several years ago and gave me an amazing life...however, hers was cut short by cancer :( So here I am looking for my FUREVER family! My rescue has committed to find me just the right couch to lay on and the right people to love me, so if you are a true dobie lover, APPLY NOW!!!! i am waiting! Hi, my name is Fury! But I'm more like a happy, gentle breeze that wants to have fun! You might recognize my name from the famous character Director Nick Fury of the Marvel movies, I'm kinda like him: I love being the center of attention and don't like it when people take my stuff! I am a big dog! With my mixed Doberman Pinscher/Black Labrador genes I am a whopping 52#/lbs and have a ton of energy and muscle that needs to be worked! Because of this it would be best if I was paired with an active family who knows how to keep a dog mentally stimulated and respects my boundaries well. No apartment living for me please! No cats or small children either! My caretakers have learned some important things about me: I am a chow-hound and will try to eat anything I can get my hands on! So please leave food out of reach from me or I'll swoop it all up. Secondly, I would prefer if people didn't grab things that I have in my mouth, it's mine not yours hehe! Overall, I am a big-hearted dog who wants to go play, be adventurous, have fun with other people and dogs! I am however not such a big fan of car rides, they make my tummy feel sick eww! And at 33#, I am smaller in stature but not personality!! I am such a happy guy, saved from the pound by the rescue team. The pound peeps were so happy for me because they knew I am a special boy and now I am safe and ready for adoption ! I don't have a napoleon complex. Meet Truffles -“The Ears Have It!” Few critters in the animal kingdom have ears that can move separately, up/down, folded, or crisscrossed. The magnificent Truffles is one of the few! This gorgeous, friendly, athletic gal is endowed with huge stick up bat signal ears. When not receiving transmissions, one or both of her giant receivers crisscross atop her head. She loves long walks on her leash, zooming, playing with balls & stuffies, tug-of-war and of course, cuddling. Truffles was born with a genetic condition called mega esophagus that requires a bit of extra time & special steps at meals. She has a custom chair that allows her to eat in an upright position. Truffles eagerly gets into her chair as she is quite food motivated. She sits in her chair for 15 -20 minutes after eating. She cannot have treats. And that is it! You might notice her throat moving like a bullfrog when she is sleeping, due to the enlarged esophagus, but that is nothing to worry about. She is intelligent, active, affectionate, and eager to please. She is ideal for an active family or individual. More Attributes! Tyke came to Bonaparte's because he had a terrible injury in his hind leg where he was shot and needed an amputation. The leg was fractured but there were also bullet fragments trying to push themselves out. Tyke has since had the amputation and healed beautifully and we have discovered what a love this guy is...truly the perfection definition of a gentle giant. He is great with cats, good with little dogs, good with kids and all people. He does seem to have a bit of separation anxiety which can cause him to sometimes have an accident in the house but we are working on it and paper towels are his fave when his foster is gone so those would need to be out of reach-but really with how just perfect this guy is that is an easy fix in a home!
