After being treated for a high temperature from the heat, she spent time in a foster home and with a family before coming back to us.Winnie Bear is:• Spayed, microchipped, and house trained• Calm in the house and no longer requires anxiety medication• Sweet, loving, and enjoys long walks• Very fond of playing with the water hose• Best suited for a home without small dogs or young childrenShe is a very sweet dog, but we have found she can be rowdy around kids and recently went after our smaller dog over a toy. While no biting was involved, she would be happiest with bigger playful dogs or with an active owner and a nice yard where she can thrive.💰 Rehoming fee: $150

Zola: protector & sensitive soul Rarely does a gorgeous mix of a dog with such a tender heart survive a history of neglect and abuse, yet emerge so loving, affectionate and dedicated to guarding her household. Zola is one such tale. She was found under a daycare, having given birth to a litter of puppies. Always stunning in looks as a black mouth cut/Dutch shepherd mix (our best guess), she was shut down, shy, wary of raised voices & reaching hands, but never, ever mean. In her foster mom’s home, she has gradually come out of her shell. She now loves being hugged on, petted, brushed. She oh, so gently takes treats. She is great with other dogs, but her favorites to cuddle with are similar to her in size. She is very gentle with children, and extremely emotionally intuitive. She takes “night patrol” duties seriously, having assigned herself the task of ensuring property safety before she settles indoors to sleep. Zola is ready & so deserves a loving furever home of her own. She will make an excellent addition to a family or as a solo dog. I'm named Tuffy but what I really am is a big Softy. I'm an active, sweet boy and kind of a goofball. I came from a very nice couple who loved me very much, however, they were homeless. Now don't get me wrong, they took EXCELLENT care of me, but I am a BIG boy and they were having a hard time taking me on the buses or into the shelters :( So, my parents asked the rescue to take me in and find me the right home. I'm a GORGEOUS Catahoula boy, tall, merle and HANDSOME!! My eyes tell my story and it is a good one! I'm a playful and fun, a BIG boy around 65lbs. I am learning manners and making ALL kinds of friends at the rescue, but I am waiting for the SPECIAL FRIENDS who will give me my WILDEST DREAM- A HOME! SO, look me up, don't wait... APPLY!!!!
