Story
Willow is a female mixed breed just over a year old (July 13th). She's a very sweet dog and loves attention. We have two granddaughters ages 3 and 7 and she's very good with them. She's been nose to nose with cats at the vet and has been in a house with a cat. She's still working on manners but she does sit when told to. She needs to be with someone who can give her the attention and time she needs. She loves to snuggle and play and has a lot of energy. She's looking for her human who can be her best friend.

Story
It’s no mystery that Scooby is truly one of a kind. Scooby is a big dog with an even bigger heart. More than anything, he just wants to be with his people — whether that’s playing fetch outside or curling up beside you indoors. Scooby is happiest simply existing alongside the people he loves. Like his cartoon counterpart, Scooby can be a little nervous when faced with new experiences. But with patience, reassurance, and love, he’s learning what safety and trust really feel like. Once he’s comfortable, his goofy, loving personality shines through. Scooby knows his basic commands and is highly motivated by his personal version of Scooby Snacks: slices of American cheese. Honestly, if cheese is involved, this man is ready to negotiate anything. Scooby is looking for a patient, loving home that will continue helping him build confidence while giving him all the companionship he craves. In return, he’ll give you loyalty, laughter, and a best friend who just wants to be by your side. *** Disclaimer *** This profile reflects information provided and behaviors observed by those who have interacted with this dog. Introducing Hondo, the loyal and brave companion you've been waiting for! Hondo is a true good boy, showcasing his friendly nature with both people and fellow furry friends. He strikes the perfect balance between confident and respectful, making him a wonderful addition to any household dynamic. While Hondo may be a bit head shy when it comes to leashes, it's a trait rooted in his past experiences - his ears once caused him discomfort. But with patience and understanding, he's slowly overcoming this challenge. This resilience highlights his adaptable nature and willingness to grow. Crate training is a breeze for Hondo, reflecting his cooperative spirit. He's well-versed in the art of sitting and enjoys eating a peaceful meal. These traits make him a joy to train and a promising companion for both new and experienced pet owners. Hondo's ideal home is one that's lively and active, as he thrives in an environment where he can stretch his legs and engage in the joyful act of running. With a strong recall foundation already in place, he's open to further fine-tuning this skill. This warrior-dog's name is music to his ears, and he responds to it with enthusiasm. Though his recall could use a bit more polish, his eagerness to learn shines through. Hondo's adaptable and resourceful nature, coupled with his receptive attitude, make him a loyal partner for all your adventures. If you're seeking a four-legged friend who embodies both resilience and companionship, look no further than Hondo. He's ready to stand by your side and show you the depths of his affectionate heart. Story
Zola: protector & sensitive soul Rarely does a gorgeous mix of a dog with such a tender heart survive a history of neglect and abuse, yet emerge so loving, affectionate and dedicated to guarding her household. Zola is one such tale. She was found under a daycare, having given birth to a litter of puppies. Always stunning in looks as a black mouth cut/Dutch shepherd mix (our best guess), she was shut down, shy, wary of raised voices & reaching hands, but never, ever mean. In her foster mom’s home, she has gradually come out of her shell. She now loves being hugged on, petted, brushed. She oh, so gently takes treats. She is great with other dogs, but her favorites to cuddle with are similar to her in size. She is very gentle with children, and extremely emotionally intuitive. She takes “night patrol” duties seriously, having assigned herself the task of ensuring property safety before she settles indoors to sleep. Zola is ready & so deserves a loving furever home of her own. She will make an excellent addition to a family or as a solo dog. Attributes Wonderful with children Very emotionally intuitive Local adoption fee is $300(in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)
