Cooper is an almost 6-year-old, purebred Doberman Pinscher. He is around 90lbs, house-trained and create-trained (he sleeps in one), and in perfect health. He knows "sit," "down," "stay," "off," "come," and "place." Our family situation has changed, and we can not provide him with the care he needs. He is very social and loving and has been socialized with other dogs since he was six months old. However, he has not been around other pets in a long time. He needs an experienced dog owner.

Bella is a 3 year old spayed female Doberman with floppy ears and a docked tail. She was originally found as a stray (multiple times) and her owner decided it was best to surrender her to our rescue. She is up to date on her vaccines, microchipped and spayed. She tested positive for heartworms and is currently being treated. Bella is learning manners in foster. We will require an experienced working breed owner as she can be a bit pushy due to lack of prior rules. She’s shown us she learns quite quickly but with her intelligence if she can “get one over on you” she will. She’s VERY smart! She has been around cats and chickens and fit into her foster pack very nicely. She doe well with male dogs, but NOT other female dogs. She is also crate trained and housebroken. Older children would be recommended due to her exuberance but she loves people!

Aries was found by a family in North Texas wandering the woods and hungry. I acquired him from that family and though I have owned Dobermans in the past he has made me realize that I am not 20 or 30 years old anymore and he is a bit too much dog for me. Also, Aries is and intact male and will need to be neutered, he is UTD on all vaccinations. However, he is Heartworm Positive(+) and will need treatment. Unfortunately, I do not have the means to provide the treatment due to my disabilities and financial situation. He deserves so much more.

Meet Beau or as I like to call him, Bowlegged Beau! He has a birth defect in his left front leg but that doesn’t keep him from walking or enjoying life. Beau is as laid back as it gets for a senior. He doesn’t require much exercise due to his age as well as his birth defect. He naps all day, snuggles with his panda, loves his squeeker ball, comes up for head pets, and just likes keeping you company! He’s a sweet big baby who just wants to sleep beside you while you work at your desk or cook dinner. Beau does have a prey drive so a house with NO cats is required (reason for rehoming). He does well with other dogs, but will let dogs know when they’re invading his personal space. He doesn’t care too much to play but will join in on the fun if it gets rowdy. He does have separation anxiety so another dog in the home or calming treats are appreciated! Honestly if it wasn’t for our home having 2 cats we would love to keep him but I know there’s someone out there that can give him a chance!

He started his shelter journey in ICU with a broken leg but now that he’s feeling better he can’t wait to move on from the shelter and start a new chapter of his life! He’s having a hard time managing his stress, so for that reason he isn’t putting his best paw forward when you meet him kennel side- however once he’s out he’s calm and well mannered! His ideal home would be a quiet one, someone who has the patience to help him learn all about the world and let him know it doesn’t have to be scary.
